What is funny about that chaos breathing…. It’s very healthy to practice - strengthening the diaphragm and the body’s capacity to convert different patterns and volumes of air to fuel. So those patients are getting fitter :)

💡I think the worries I have about that pan might be “anticipatory anxiety.” I experience this a lot.

This is circular. I asked about harm OCD being repressed anger. He said no because yoire not certain, but that's the point. People with OCD are uncertain people. Ffs if we are expected to embrace uncertainty, then the logic is any obsession could actually be true. Which means it isn't exactly nonsense as the glib Dr Grayson suggested. In fact it seems to me that modern psychology is about getting OCD patients to accept they have obsessions and not ask questions about them. And then Medicate if need be. The fact that each person focuses on a specific ocd trigger means there is something unique about them and their history that might dignify the thougjt. Freud at least thought logically about it. We are expected to resist this because I believe modern psychology can't come up with a better answer. Even the whole theory of faulty brain signaling hasn't been proven. I wasn't expecting any reassurance or any confirmation of any bias I had. As a sufferer I was hoping the comment wouldn't be dismissed so quickly. What a dick
