There is something you said, Jason or Edwin, that misrepresented the Catholic Church, because of lack of understanding. We don't have to obey the Pope or any teaching that goes against the Bible and what Jesus taught. Jesus gave His Church the Deposit of Faith, the Sacraments. These are necessary for Salvation. Everything else can be tools to commune with Christ on a more personal level and strengthen our relationship with Him and each other, but not necessary for Salvation. So it's not required to believe or practice every wind of doctrine the Pope pullls out of His sleeve. The SDA Church, however, IS required to believe in the 1844 cleansing of the Sanctuary, 2300 day prophecy and The Investigative Judgement. If one does not believe these pillars, then, you cannot call yourself SDA

This Former Adventist does not want Edwin and Jason to give verses because if they don't give verses, it will suit his aim in giving an inadequate and incomplete representation of Seventh Day Adventism. If you can't believe in the Trinity, the only other alternative is belief in 3 separate and tangible Gods that make up your "Godhead", which is heretical. I ask you, don't you see, there is One Church that has stood the test of time for 2000 years? And I'm not trying to be rude, just saying, the Catholic Church is a fact that it has been around for 2000 years and can be traced all the way back to Jesus and the Apostles. I think I heard you say that you first were introduced to Daniel chapter 2.. and because of that you were no longer an atheist ..an you claim you understood it. most likely you did most of it ..but you still don't know how many kingdoms are described there.. so that must mean that you have an expertise on Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 also.. correct ?you said you have thoroughly researched what you believe.. and therefore you know that what you believe is the truth.. correct? so why can't you interpret Daniel 8 to this day or Daniel 7? or know how many kingdoms are in Daniel 2?
