Listening to the thought behind his music makes you realize that beauty doesn't just come by "chance".

Beautiful and expressive slides and shifts to go along with a gorgeous vibrato, and musicality. Augustin has the complete package. Thanks

Thank you, Augustin! Could you please eventually say also few words about the shifts and slides in the faster passages? The ones that need to be fast, light and ideally inaudible. Thank you!!!

As a bassoonist who adores the violin, I have to say how much I love your tutorials. Thanks! Do you have a tutorial about the difference between French and Russian violin playing styles?

I wish I'd found your channel so much earlier. A lot of insights here. No disrespect to my teacher, I love her, but having these repeatable insights from somebody like you is a great addition to any learning

Wow ..... Thank you very much Mr. Augustin Radelich for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. What a wonderful artist you are ..... Hearing him play and teach is just a delight ..... I can't find words to thank him or praise him. Magnificent. (Please tell me you have a video of you playing Ciaccona from Partita II - Bach). I'm one of your fans .... Thank you very much, it is an honor to be able to see an artist of this level interpreting the great names of classical music, and sharing his knowledge and art with us.

Thank you very much. Two years ago, I started to play piano - autodidaticly. From playing piano, I learned to prepare the next tone/accord by changing the position of my hand slightly. I did the same on the violin: While playing the actual tone, I started slightly to prepare for the shifting and it worked much better, especially at a higher speed. Without preparation of the next tone/shift, I was always late. Besides I became aware of the question, when exactly has a shift to be done: before the next tone, between or after the next tone? If you have to play exactly at tempo, there is only one solution. In order to play "just in time", the end of the shifting movement has to be finished just before the next tone begins. Therefore shifting makes the previous note shorter.
