@@chuckarnold4488 He might not be a technical marvel but Ace can create hooks like a mother. His "sloppy" playing gave everything a feeling that a lot of technical guys don't have. (Tying it into wrestling, Stone Cold wasn't nearly as technically good in the ring as Bret, but who had the more fun matches to watch and drew more money?) Steve Vai is amazing but Ace influenced more kids to pick up the guitar and start bands. Hope you had safe and fun Halloween.

What I know about IPW is that it was aired out of Ft. Smith when we first got our Fox station (I'm from there), the announcer was also the host of the afternoon kids cartoon block that showed public domain cartoons going by the name "Cowboy Buddy", they had a championship ring that was a class ring ordered from Walmart, the show was called Wrestle Mania (two words so technically not stealing and tricked a lot of people in the area lol) and best of all, seeing the guy Farmer was talking about, Motley Cruz, buying always save paper towels at the grocery store asking if it was him, him asking if I wanted an autograph and saying no but asking if he wanted mine since I was probably more famous (I was in Jr high, I was a dick, sorry lol)

Poor David.... he always said did want to wrestle, he wanted to be a state trooper.... In the end David said he "broke into the business backwards" 😂, i.e. right at the top in WCW as David Flair @ a Pay Per View and to his credit "Hogan gave him real whacks w/ his weight belt." (Ric was furious feeling Hogan took liberties but David didn't complain).... Then the kid is so young 😂 according to Stevie Ray (Harlem Heat) WCW gives him plane tickets 🎟 from city to city but neglects a ride between towns because he was less than 25, so they took em! And Ric was greatful." Eventually Reid who was a talented Amature Wrestler made an independent shot or two, and it seemed he was more on his way than David. One was a Tag against the Nasty Boys w/Hogan as Ref and The Flair Brothers. David is about my age (mid 40's) married wrestling wasn't for him, Reid who wanted it, 😢 had personal problems 😢.
