Corny and Brian Last have the most popular podcast because they have great chemistry together and it's more of a variety show than a Q&A style podcast. Yes Corny's political views are off putting but his other rants are hilarious. The good chemistry between Dutch and James is also why this podcast is the "second" most popular out there. If the hosts and guests are constantly arguing or stepping over each other then it's a terrible listen.

Jim also has an incredible collection of stories, memorable and most importantly he was there for much of wrestling early history. I'm not into politics and I don't watch the current wrestling product, jim tends to go on abit too much about both subjects sometimes

One of the reasons I prefer Dutch is that when he gives his opinions on spots or programming he explicitly states that they're just that...his opinions. He doesn't belittle people for doing things different than he would do. Also he's very careful to point out that his opinions of people are based on personal experiences and he will not judge on any other basis.

Ah, both of y’all are so entertaining as a duo. Makes my Friday every week. I’d love to see footage of that well advertised and well attended Indian match that Dutch mentioned. 😂 It’s not hard to believe at all there Dutchman. I didn’t get in on the survey about wrestling podcasts but count me in the column of those who only watch/listen to this one. I am starting to listen to Shane’s podcast though. Terrific work, James! I have to add that the Raquel Rodriguez bit was hilarious. James, you needed a standby cigar there instead of a pen at that moment. Missing a chromosome is an instant classic! I haven’t listened to Jericho since about the time he joined AEW. Kudos to Dutch for calling out/being truthful about JR. I haven’t listened to him in years. His BBQ sauce is B+. Dutch needs to learn and play “I’ve been everywhere” ala Johnny Cash on the guitar, like he did with “Wildwood Flower” on CWA back in ‘86. You already know from my email that I can’t take Cornette’s mouth or “Save with Conrad”.

It's what I said all the time. Look at all the people who were "blacklisted" from WWF/WWE - Macho Man Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Ultimate Warrior, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bruno Sammartino, Bret "Hitman" Hart etc. THEY all returned to WWE afterwards, some thanks to Paul Levesque aka Triple H for the WWE Hall of Fame. Hell, we saw Jim Cornette on a WWE PPV again in over two decades when he inducted the Rock & Roll Express into the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Savage came back and did the deal where he cut the promo on the WWE All Stars game, Ultimate Warrior came back and did the promo for WWE '14, Bret Hart had his final match at Wrestlemania etc. IF they can come back, I'm sure CM Punk could be welcomed back with open arms in WWE. Yea there are a few that hate his guts like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, but those are the minority, because I find it ironic that they're mad at him yet Seth came from ROH (Specifically via Punk's recommendation since he did wrestle Seth as Tyler Black before Punk went to WWE) and Reigns only has his job (as do Usos/Nia Jax/Solo Sikoa) due to the fact that the Wild Samoans and Dwayne Johnson worked for WWE and used their "stroke" to get them in.

I like Conrad with Bischoff and Prichard because he's not scared to argue with them and they have plenty of time to talk. Hate him with Schiavone and with guys like Arn and Jim Ross, he's too respectful - he will never pick them up on anything. The worst thing about Conrad are the endless catchphrases though, the 'quote unquote's and 'roll tides's and 'rumor and innuendo's As for picking holes in TNA, would he dare do the same with AEW? Nope.

I think the comment went by unnoticed by the general public but every new age fan that listens to podcasts, openly discusses how predetermined the product is ears perked up and went what did he just say? And for a little bit dispelled belief and went "I think this dude is really pissed". What a refreshing change from today's synchronized tumbling wrestling style with interviews that sound like someone is trying to act like an actor acting out being a wrestler... no soul in it at all, just words strung together. Maybe make a work out of the work of wrestling... something like "hey I'm tired of you making this buisness a joke, you miss your spots your footwork is that of an elephant with a corn and I'm gonna beat your ass everyday until you agree with me". Wrestling used to be everyday "shit talking" and we have lost that, mainly because back in the day when those men said "you made the mistake of messing with me and now I'm gonna make you say uncle in front of everybody" they believed it 100% and 70% could do just that, at will.

Not sucking up at all here, but I subscribe to a few on the list and honestly this one is the ONLY one I REGULARLY click onto. The two I HAVE given more than one effort to get into both tend to lose steam quickly in the interest department. Those are Jake's and Nash's podcasts. Jake drifts and seems to be too blistered most of the time to be understood. That's why his channel usually only offers VERY short videos I'm surmising. On Nash, I have no real beef, but I DO tend to turn off to it once the politics start getting drug into it. He's a flaming Lib, fair enough. But please, I'd rather hear ANOTHER tired worn out Clique story first. Oh....bring back Thunderfoot. Later.

@ShadowAngel1860 Жыл бұрын
The bigger problem is that Nash is seemingly drunk all the time and even when he talks about wrestling or his career, it's usually just lies that can be debunked in a matter of seconds. Like his claim that he never got any merchandise money in WCW, even though all the contracts and money data is public knowledge and everybody has access to it. I really wonder what people listen to him and think "this is a great, informative podcast"

It truly is the worst podcast of them all including Hannibal. Nash has zero interest in being there and his non chalant answers for everything makes it painful to listen. He also lies and plays dumb far too often.

Yeah Nash is usually stoned or got a Xanax in him when he does the show and you can tell with how non chalant he is and he doesn't really care about what he's being asked about so alot of the time it's vague and then he just goes off talking about something he wants to talk about instead. Obviously he's been through alot the loss of son and it's fair if he isn't enthusiastic about doing the shows like he was at the beginning but then you just gotta not do it if you're not feeling it

And Nash and Oliver has its moments but I feel like alot of the time Nash is just pretty stoned so it doesn't really flow at times the conversations.
