You know i always watch the AEW post media scrum but this one i almost skipped only because I saw the top comment and it said something like, "as a black man i also annoyed by the comment about black champions in AEW" and there wasn't enough context for me to start to understand what this commenter was talking about. But I automatically assumed that it was the first usual divisive toxic online type that I no longer wanted to watch the media scrum. I watched it anyways and I had no idea who made the comment nor when it was made so now here I was watching and thinking about everything that was being said and then we got to Bobby Lashley and then i figured it out. It was such a relief to see someone of Lashley's character and stature stand up and denounce this type of race hustling wokeness. 👏

Fightful is definitely to blame. Kate asked the question, however I blame the members of the Grapsody show including Will Washington who works for AEW. He waa the one who was counting minutes of how long a black wrestler is on TV or champion before AEW started. That indoctrinated the people there at Fightful that all they see is race primarily black. I don't see them caring that much for any other race or nationality like Asian and I totally agree with Lashley's message. It needs to stop.

These kinds of questions are asked by those trying to "prove" that everyone else is racist and they, themselves, are not.
@jaredgarrison33342 минут бұрын
If you don’t think race is still important then your a fool. Bobby can do whatever he wants, but it seems the people who are always happy when a black person shuts down a race question are those who are the most close minded regarding other races and issues they face. It just seems to be a trend. These people might as well just come out and say Bobby is one of the good ones.

As an older black man i agree with Bobby and Dutch. There was a time that was important, but now i truly believe people just want to see good entertainment. I have a ton of white sports heroes and am proud that white people have the opportunity to have the same in wrestling for black heroes.

Context James missed, I know he's not big on Twitter: The woman who asked is Kate from Fightful. She is notoriously anti-WWE and one of those "stop watch" folks who time how longer women's matches are, but ignore the fact that WWE has way more women's wrestling than her precious AEW. This was a set up to try to get Bobby to tear down WWE and it was see through.
