Although your response on dealing with world poverty and the third class in general is some what heart felt I do feel that you have dodged the question in it's fullest. You have the rare opportunity to view these places in a light that is seldom cast, with that in mind I think all of us would like to have a mindscape of what it is to truly be in these situations. Obviously you are on a limited time frame with a loose skeleton of goals to accomplish when you do visit these places, and we can all learn the moral that less is more no matter where we are, but it would be nice for you to pursue the idea further on what is third world living because I think the main problem is that we are so detached we feel helpless, as you have said. What the reality is, if we choose to perceive it this way, is that we are not unattached, rather we are very much attached to the experiences we share in life. Think of it as a matter of perception, yes on a global scale no one man can solve world hunger, yet we do not perceive life on such a scale; Instead we operate on a word to mouth, eye to brain, process that fuels us from our day to day. So being it that you are blessed enough to travel the world for your own peace of mind and to pursue this as a valid venture of how to spend your time on this earth, shouldn't it be a sort of mission, seeing it as you have been a youth leader in your own days, that you can better what you do see around you. I often give when I can, and it may not be much...even may be a bit of sin because if a bum wants smoke I will give him a few extra just so he doesn't have to ask for a bit....but with that being said...Don't you think that even though less is more to these people, that your less would be so much appreciated that you could do a video on that...and I know that you give, for instance the lady that took you to the bank when you offered to buy her groceries, and I'm not saying you don't give enough, I am aware of the charities you've helped over the years, but ,perhaps the focus of your videos doesn't have to be about how travel applies to you, but how you apply to your travels...does that make sense? I have been following your videos for some time and just simply know that you are such a good person that it could be less of a self serving quality and more of a what can we do to effect the places we travel. tourism will always exist...lets bypass that. travel will always exist...lets excel that...what can we do to change the world?

Hey @funforlouis if you want to see an active Volcano head to an island in Vanuatu called Tanna. You can go on an incredible tour right up to the edge of a active volcano. It's amazing. I'm heading there again for the 3rd time after I finish working in Antarctica in February. Congratulations on visiting 54 countries that is a huge effort, I have now visited 42 countries. Regarding going to see a volcano -- you should go to Vanuatu. One of the The islands is called Tanna... And you can walk up and sometimes go in the top of it aswell, my partner really wants to go there because he's an adrenalin junkie - I think you should definitely go there one day! :)

I'd like to see the guy not do the same thing over and over, just addressing the camera while stuff happens around him, all formatted the same way every episode. There again, he doesn't seem to claim to be anything other than a guy who blogs. He doesn't claim to be an artist or a film maker, so I wouldn't be too hard on him for not being one. Nor does he claim, 'come and watch a talented individual dissect and discuss life and the world around us', so there again, I wouldn't be too harsh on him for not doing so. He actually delivers on what he promises, which is 'hi, I'm Louis and I film my life'. that's what he promises and that's what you get. As someone said earlier, it's nice work if you can get it!
