Also, on the subject of taking days off, do what you have to do man! :) We vlog daily, but only upload on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, which I find to be the perfect schedule for us. I can completely understand how vlogging and uploading every day might get exhausting. Don't feel like you absolutely have to upload every day. We'll all be here for you whenever you decide to upload!

Louis, you definitely are deserving of some rest after all the hard work you put into your vlogs. I daily vlog myself and I struggle to keep it at 7 days a week because of the extra time taken to edit, render and upload and I am always amazed how you can keep up such a consistent upload schedule alongside all your other social networks and of course enjoying the actual experience! And while small content creators like myself would love an opportunity to upload a vlog once a week on your channel, that seems like it would be difficult for you to sift through all the submissions and further detract from your time. With that in mind, it should definitely be up to you to decide what you want your channel to be like, as we all know that your talent and creativity can make anything happen :)

Daily vlogging is a full time job without a doubt. I have no idea how you continue to maintain it day after day, especially while traveling and being in transit. Do yourself a favor and take a day off every week. I think it will not only be good for your well being but also for the community to be able to get more involved in what you do. In my eyes, it's a win-win for everyone.

Most people never edited a vlog in their entire life and don't know how much time and effort you have to put in to it. It can be really exhausting and honestly it's pretty selfish of some people to complain about you taking a day off. Do whatever feels the best for you and get some rest.

Why don't you just go to bed a reasonable time and then you wouldn't get so tired and run down. All those days you go with so little sleep are hard on your mind and body. Taking a day off vlogging would be okay but if you aren't actually taking care of yourself it won't solve the problem.

omg i scrolled down the comments and all i saw is people saying "omg stop complaining, it's not really a hard job", are you guys serious??? first of all he wasn't complaining about how hard his job is, of course it is exausting to do so much traveling with jet lag and such, second of all i don't think many of you realise how much time editing actually takes, especially when you have to do it daily, Louis is one of the hardest working youtubers, who doesn't get enough credit, and i think it's a great idea to have a 1 day off, + it kind of is interesting to see other places from other people's perspective, i think Louis should do a trial.

She doesn't talk that much I know but she just seems warm and when you see her in the background of the vlog, she seems to be really friendly with everyone (despite that being the first time she meets them). It's hard to pin point why I really like her.....she just seems so lovely. Like, I can't think of a bad thing to say about her from what I've seen :) Also, if you watch Ben Brown's vlogs of when they're all in New York, she talks ALOT more than in Louis's vlogs so her personality comes through alot more. She also seems really positive and chill and.....yeah. Long inarticulate answer, lol.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP WITH THE HATE. Everyone deserves a day off. A video that's 15 minutes requires hours of footage and many hours to edit. I'm actually shocked he can get one out every day. Damn people, don't judge until you've done it yourself. Doesn't it feel like sometimes you have so much to do and not enough hours in the day to do it? Now add hours and hours of editing to do that. Also the hate on Zoella? Like what the hell?! Don't watch something if you don't like it!! Louis: I think the idea of putting up another person's vlog is so amazing. The idea about guest vloggers filling in once a week is genius! I'm sure there would be an enormous amount of details to figure out in making that happen but I'm hoping to see it come to fruition. It would be an excellent way to give yourself a day off and also mix up the channel and bring in the viewer KZbin community in a very special way. Again, genius idea!

Well once you are confident editing and you have the right software and repeat entry files organized, editing can be pretty swift, Louis is an expert. It only takes me about an hour or two to edit my video's, but I agree with everything you say about taking time off, daymm! :P

About the idea of seeing other people's vlogs... personally I watch your vlogs because they are YOUR vlogs; with your awesome editing, your choice of awesome music and your personality stamped on them.. so not sure how I feel about someone else taking over one day a week. I guess it could go either way - on the one hand it could be a good way to discover new talented youtubers but on the other hand it could be one video a week that's a bit weak... But then again, would a possibly-good-possibly-not-good-new-youtuber video once a week be better than none at all on that day? maybe.

Definitely take a day off every week, or the whole weekend. Vlogging has to be something that is fun for the vlogger in order for it to be fun for the viewer. Sometimes you can clearly see that vlogging is a chore for some KZbinrs and, as a viewer, I don't enjoy watching the vlogs if that's the case. I'm not so sure about the idea of having your viewers' vlogs on your channel because I feel like it would be very easy to exploit that (meaning that a lot of people would just use that as a way of luring your subscribers to their channel). Personally, I'd be completely fine with "only" six or five videos per week from this channel. But like you said, let's just give it a try and see what happens.

I was a bit annoyed when you mentioned that you might stop vlogging one day a week but then i was exited when you said about the user submitted vlogs. One thing i want to ask is if you have a variety of non copyright music that you asked permission by the producer for does that mean we can use that music without gaining permission if we were only going to submit it to you?... I'm your same age, and I wanted to encourage you to share if you feel lead to in your videos what you believe and your faith in Christ. I know you have many deep conversations with Nick & Ang, & Dave etc, I have a feeling your sharing what you believe. If you think about it, the only reason Louis keeps loosing these expensive products is because they aren't that valuable to him. He can easily go out and buy a replacement for these things. Most people (viewers) can't afford to go out and replace expensive electronics so they cherish what they have.

I disagree. Louis travels WAY more than a "normal person" and almost everyone has accidentally left something on the bus or in your hotel room at some point. You constantly move stuff around while travelling and that almost inevitably leads to you losing something. It's just a part of that lifestyle.

Forsure do it and it would help you just refresh and i bet if you do take that 1 day break the vlogs will become better (Not trying to say there not, cause there awesome) but you would just have a lot more fun id think. And if your on a really cool trip and that day you still want vlog you can just, the next day you can put the 2 videos together and have a 2 day or 3 day or what ever it may be collage of videos just an idea. But yeah i absolute love the idea of letting someone else there amazing adventures to or even maybe let one of your friends who doesn't have a channel but may want to vlog, let them try it out? Again just idea but keep up the great work louis your amazing and have like the coolest job ever! Thanks for sharing you Adventures with us (:

I think it's a brilliant idea! It's so classically Louis, in that you are giving a generous opportunity to others. I'm old enough to know that things like leaving an expensive laptop on an airplane, Penny board on the train, etc.are signs that you are fraying around the edges. Louis it would be totally ok for you to take a day off! I mean you already upload so much and you do so many things during the day I've always wondered how you pull it off so yeah i do think you should just get a day to rest and stuff because that's how your content will stay awwsome. I had the same thought, but I like watching KZbin videos because they are personal and direct. If it was crisp and perfectly edited by a third person I feel it may loose its niche vlogging quality. Just my penny's worth.

I think that's a good idea BUT I think it'd be hard to find someone who can edit exactly how Louis wants him too. Also there's an issue with what Louis wants to keep in vs what the editor might want to keep in...It's tricky.

Not to judge you but...why does he have to :/ Tbh when people constantly bring up religion in their videos I find it quite annoying...not because I hate any religion but because I might not follow their religion so hearing them preech about it makes me enjoy them less. I firmly believe that, unless they're a well known religious person, they should seperate their religious beliefs from videos. Louis channel is a traveling one. Not religious one. If he starts adding in his religion every video, I will unsubscribe. And yeah, ik you'll probably be like "ok, bye." but as stated before, it just takes away from what I'm trying to enjoy.

Louis's entire job is vloging 10-15 mins a day and spending an hour to edit it.... Compare it to people who work 9 to 5 or people who do 12 hour shifts a few times a week and he's complaining about burnout? Missing a vlog is not a big deal but its not going to help... Not sleeping at ridiculous hours everyday and not always trying to catch up on sleep will probably work.. Its pretty obvious..

Yeah I tried uploading videos every day for a week and I'm always too tired at night to edit it together. I end up finding an hour or two between classes and just doing nothing else but work on my videos. You get tired after a long day of doing stuff. Editing is really harmful to the eyes

I love Louis' vlogs; this is just my opinion. Traveling is exhausting. If any of you have ever been anywhere you would know. But sitting at a desk or computer all day is just as exhausting. All I'm trying to say is, yes, Louis doesn't necessarily work, but his job is to entertain us and that is hard work and I do think he deserves his money. And if your complaining about how he has such a fun life and you have such a boring life, or that you get paid way less than him and he's not even working, YOUR the one who chose your life. If you wanted to travel and make vlogs you could've! But you chose to have a family and a full time job. If you think his complaining is boring, think of all the complaining you do. Just as unnecessary.

Hey Louis, you really need some breaks. I've noticed you being very exhausted for some time. I don't know how anyone can manage to cope with so little me-time as you do. - Although it wouldn't hurt to just take a day off once a week I think the fill-in-one-day is a phantastic opportunity for many people out there. - But don't forget that it's going to be an incredible amount of work watching through all those videos to make sure there is nothing impropper in them which you can't identify with!
