Here is a fast and easy way to make the Mary’s Triangle Block, Shaded 4-patch and Brave New World blocks and Cat’s Cradle blocks. Cutting with strips you can make eight at a time quickly and accurately.

I really like your short cut. But looking at the video and your shaded 4 patch sheet, I don’t see the height to make it a rectangle to make strips. Maybe I am not understanding your sheet.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but when making the 8 at a time, what's the length of A, B, C and D? I get that the width is 2.5, 5, 3.5 and 7. Is the length 5?

The jig-method is great. I've never seen that before. Could we have more of them and more of the how to make 8 at once blocks? That was amazing! I'm a beginner and piecing often seems to take forever. More of these would be AWESOME!

Thank you. I watch your channel often. I had this pattern and this block was part of it. I knew I had made it before, but could not figure out how to attach. All I needed was your example. I had already cut the fabric based on the pattern. I love your direct approach to quilting. I am not as great it as I would like to be, but what it gives me to create is priceless. Oh my, I haven't made a quilt in 15 years and still have a whole room full of fabric. I've been thinking about giving it away but it's very painful to give up old friends. Seeing this video has re-ignited me to go make some quilts, the excitement is back!!!

Just discovered your tutorial on this block. I made a quilt several years ago with the “two blocks at once” method and loved the result. The pattern was in a Quilter magazine which I’ve since lost. I’ve been hunting high and low for the same method ever since! And tah dah! There’s your tutorial! Bless you x
