Personally I could never be rude to wait staff. I’ve dinned with someone who is and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve seen from a grown man. I once pretended to go to the bathroom and actually went to find the manager and waiter to apologise and ignore the comments. Other times I’ve called after to again apologise and say ‘please don’t think we are like that’ as these are places I’d want to return to because they were awesome restaurants. James thinks he’s important and that’s the only reason he was rude to that level. Like a bit of egg white in the omelette? That’s some rich white folk problems right there…
