I was so addicted to this show in the 80's and I can't remember what happened in the episodes but the theme song has been stuck in my head for years . I was a 70's baby and an 80's child

I love how the opening sequence of the show is basically a wet t-shirt contest mixed with shots of the outback. These blokes knew how to attract an audience in 1970s Australia.

I don't remember the wet t-shirt shots! As a kid in the 80's I remember the intro song (of course, sticks in your head) and I remember specifically the shot through the side window of the van looking at the passenger and driver, and the vague idea that there were shots of Australia. Haha I always wondered what happened to Mike and Mal, I reckon there would be a series in visiting all the places from the original series and seeing how things have changed, see if you can find anywhere that's as remote and untouched as when they last saw it. I wonder if they'd be up for this sort of traveling at their ages.

BertisVids ViewLorium is part of Flashback Entertainment which is the authorised company for all Leyland Brothers video content. As I am the Media Rep for Mal and have removed a lot of infringing material off KZbin etc for them, if you want to get a message to Mal, let me know and I will pass it on and ask him to reply.

@pantherslair8 жыл бұрын
+catey62 No, Mal and his wife do not have a channel here on KZbin. Any person creating a channel and calling themselves the Leyland's is clearly a misguided fan who is being fraudulent and inappropriate with their name and their material. The only authorised organisation allowed to upload videos of their old programs is this one (Viewlorium) which is part of Flashback Entertainment Group.

@@RAFFIZUMZ It only works on the compression stroke. IE the stroke when all values are closed. This forces the air (mixed with fuel obviously) through the sparkplug appature where the hose is now attached in place of a sparkplug. These were very popular back in day.
