A buddy and I have just started playing Enshrouded. This looks decent too, thanks for playing it to see if it's worth wishlisting or not. Wish your channel was called "Bob Ross of Gaming"😂. Your calm demeanor when playing makes it more enjoyable.

Glad it was enjoyable to watch!! Yah Enshrouded is one of my top games by far, super enjoyable and I love the building. This game also caught my eye so we'll see how it goes, and so far so good

Quick tip. You don't need to drop the bark to harvest it into fiber. Can be done within the inventory menu by holding Shift and clicking the mouse button. This works with other items as well.

This looks pretty cool so far! I ended up getting Enshrouded b/c of your builds and stuff so maybe I'll check this out one day too. When you were talking about weather it reminded me of how much I enjoyed the storms in Valheim. Just cozying up to my fire and cooking some food while it thundered and poured outside. It was so nice. I can't wait for weather (and water) in Enshrouded!

Yah I'm definitely looking forward to that in Enshrouded for sure!! Love the building in that game! Aska is definitely worth it for a fun / chill survival game with nice graphics, but the building is not like Enshrouded!

feels like a Conan Exils, Fountain of Youth mix, set with Norse mythology

Yah it's rough at the start, although it doesn't take long and you can assign your first villager to gather food for you and the infinite water supply was super cheap to build

This is quite similar to medieval dynasty in concept and design in many ways. You should give it a go!

Definitely, very much so! i played medieval dynasty a bit, but comparing the two, I much prefer this one so far for the graphics and the mechanics / combat and everything! Some of the building in medieval dynasty and farming was pretty nice though, but i haven't got to much farming here yet

Nice! Yah so far it seems fun, and it's hard to fit quality info into small episodes, so 1+ hr streams are probably going to be my go to for this game

Yah no auto loot at the moment, but that makes sense with a game like this.

Do you know if there's a penalty if you die -- like Valheim, where it lowers your skill levels. And can villagers die? Nice, relaxed playthrough.

Yes, there are many penalty options when you die! One is being able to sacrifice a villager instead, the other is losing all your stuff and respawn, and I think you can also choose to lose skills but keep your things, so pretty advanced and could make for some interesting choices

I wouldn’t say they are similar, I think the only thing similar is that you play a Viking and they are both made in the same engine

Looks like fun but I can't get pass the scale of the grass. Why did they make the grass so big? It's distracting.

Yah everyone has their preferences for sure! i like it personally since other games for me seems to have a lack in vegetation, and with the scanning feature to find resources it makes it fine for me

thinking of buying this but the gather of resources specially for stone is a turn off. if i ever play, i will be too afraid to die and get the whole village destroyed and just to see how long it takes to gather...

Yah it's grindy at first, but villagers pretty much eliminate the grind alter one and it becomes more enjoyable

OMG yes LOL! I didn't notice that till now... mutant vikings I guess with 3 fingers 😂😂 I think the game is definitely worth it so far, it has so much potential and already better than many early access games I've tested. As far as building, I still much prefer Enshrouded and Valheim, but this game has great adventure and love the village build mechanics!
