Kept seeing my tribeys sitting around the campfire with nothing to do. Took me a while to realize you can give each tribesman multiple work orders - gather wood, operate the woodworking bench, repair the base... The wall around your bonfire is too close - they are trying to sit around the bonfire on break, but blocked by the walls. I got fish by using myself as bait - jumped in and did some swimming, drew peranha close to shore, slaughtered them.

You will need to build big in this game. Having 2 wide paths for tribesmen keeps them from getting stuck on each other. This is just the start of crafting stations they will continue to get bigger.

@@bill_and_amanda I dunno it might come in the future I only played for a day and so it might be in the game, you can take over thralls now and use there abilities in the game and your main character goes and does its thing, I guess if you find a really good fighter u could explore with them and craft with your main while you're away to boost your stats passively

For future reference, after you built the bed, you could have rested a minute. It regains your stamina which also helps with things like crafting and harvesting speeds. (from what I've heard)

Just finished Episode 1, and halfway through this. Great series so far, will be following it 😊 The game caught me off guard. I didn't understand the demo at the time, but I'm impressed with the huge amount of features in this game, working and planned.

Good morning Kage, Happy Sunday! The whole automation mechanic: crates can be set for specific item types, ability to unload said items quickly...wow it just gets better and better. I wonder if the crates have a pull system to make crafting even easier? If not; that is fine. I again, completely agree with you about the QoL settings in some games. An example is ASKA having the terraforming (flattening) of the land. When each game allows for moving of a structure or when it is disassembled it gives back all, if nearly all, of the resources is epic. I don't think, IMHO, games that have these feature available makes it too easy. Bellwright could learn a thing or two from these other games. I know it is still in development so I won't cast anymore stones. 😉 Quinoa is pronounced KEEN-WAH. The A sounds like the A in the word Ah. 🙂I am so enjoying this game, ASKA, Survival Fountain of Youth, and Bellwright. I am really getting into these types of games now. Ok enough of me blabbing. Kage you can mark items so they won't be deposited into a box when you do loot dumps. Hover over an item you want to keep and press Z (Preference) .. it will get a star on it and will stay in your inventory

your first minion is essentially a freebie you can recruit. all other Tribespeople must be captured and given an option they can't refuse

Like others have said you are going to need a LARGE base. Think Palworld size. Also, the chests snap into place going up no just left and right. So for people like me who like to micro mange inventory you can do a top box for minerals then a lower one of ingots etc (I am sure Boxer would love it!). If you can single pull them you can "stun" (the look into my eyes thing) multiple people at once. If you place them on a bed the familiarity will go up a little faster. You technically dont have to sleep but you will want to lay on the bed yourself for a few minutes to increase your morale. Also make sure you are looking at your people as some will be better at tasks than others (they get the 30/60/90 skill bumps too). So ecited you are playing this game!

when you take water, no need to put on your hotbar. all water storages will fil automatically. i tried on well, dont know for sure on rivers. you can program tribesman to make a certain quantity of an item per day, or other interval. For example: make 40 brothe every day. you can also make them take an item from a workstation and put on a chest. its usefull on a granary, for example, and grab fire ashes from campfires to make fertilizer. i would not make the base here, its very boring move to another place. its easier kick out everybody on the tribe and recruit others than move them to another location.

Man that storage system looks orgasmic, all it needs is being able to pull from nearby chests or chests that are registered as within your base. (Like chests within the outer boundaries/walls of your base registering everything within as yours)

@@devilhunter1666 yup! specific cabinets with 28 slots, like plants, ores, alchemy, cloth and stuff, even if you don't have the material on the storage you can quick deposit it (like if you have the plant one and you don't have cotton but you farm some, you can still use the quick store button and it will add it automatically) that way you don't really have to know which materials go where.

Satiety is pronounced both ways correctly. suh·tai·uh·tee and also say-she-ate-tee. I looked it up and while most say first way, i found some sources say 2nd way and although 2nd way seems less used from what i see my searches, it makes more common sense for me. if someone says it first way to me in RL i'd have no clue what they are talking about, but 2nd way would make sense. the more you know i guess.

@@Kage848 Yeah, thought Aska was going to be my game - but Soulmask (once I got past the interface - feels a little like playing "spreadsheet, the RPG") is way more in depth and customizable. Definitely winning me over.

@@Kage848why? Please. I got this and refunded it after 20 minutes. Very interested in this, bellwright and aska. Cause you get the followers. Aska, seems like it will be more able to just stay in and around the city, instead of having to go out and be a fighting God. Am I wrong on this?
