As far as I know, I ate healthy and exercises but I was a heavy caffeine drinker. My doctor told me caffeine helped increase the fibroids. I completely stopped the 5 cups a day. I switched to green tea, matcha latte with oatmilk and organic teas like dandelion and red raspberry.

I started acupuncture and my acupuncturist is also a board certified GYN. Hormone imbalance and stress are the culprits that helped cause the fibroids. My mind is running 24/7, never a quiet moment, hence the stress. I do take vitamin D3, green tea extract, HZFL and chasteberry in hopes that they assist in decreasing the size and getting rid of these fibroids. I MUST control my stress levels. I have been diagnosed with ovarian cysts in the past and had them removed, along with my ovaries, but now have fibroids. They impact on my lower back and bladder. My consultant, who is Black and female, seems quick to recommend I have a hysterectomy. I know fibroids are common in us Black women and I had expected more options. They are common in our culture but I do not personally know anyone within my circle who has them, therefore I feel a bit isolated. I am in despair to be honest. I have had two fibroid embolism to save my uterus Because I knew if I had a myoectomy they would take my uterus because each MRI showed over 20 plus fibroids. Surgery and invasive treatments would be a last resort even if GPs were not under government pressure to avoid referrals. So I am going for it with natural treatments. I googled foods that look like body parts and avocado is good for the uterus, and I believe it helped shrink fibroids cuz I no longer have them ❤🎉

Hi doctor. Please enlighten me. I have a monthly period of 5-7 days. My concern is that a week after my ovulation period( as shown in the apps since nov to present) i have a painful cramps accompanied by back pain. Same goes during the time of my menses.
