Eat lots of Broccoli, particularly on your period. It stops my excess of bleeding. MACA root from Peru, put it on your smoothies (banana, almond milk, peanut butter and table spoon of MACA) Carrots, apple and cinnamon. Eat plenty of these food and you will be fine. Spirulina and chlorela will also balance your hormones. All the berries fruits are also great. Cut sugar and meat as much as possible. Fish and seafood might be okay

I am so exhausted from all this for the last few days and I got refused treatment from the drs , in fact they let me bleed for two years straight and did nothing. They did give me a brain injury in 2017 which I think contributed to this problem. I wish I could sue them, take them out of practice . These drs down here are a danger to their patients and get away with doing this to people . Unbelievable what the drs have done to me in the last few years . Thanks a lot for this informative video. I have a question about serrapeptase as well as Chinese herbs cinnamon poria, peony extract I am taking dim and I have pain and bloating too( I also take vitex, vitamin a, vitamins b complex, omega 3 , primrose oil. My fibroid grew on hrt which I stopped. I am 46 soon , peri , had terrible hot flashes but my fibroids were stable, not growing. Recently I had degenerating fibroid pain for a month, lots of bloating with pain. My stool is regular though, never an issue. Sitz baths wouldn't cause a UTI (urinary tract infection) and could help increase circulation to the pelvis especially if you alternate between hot and cold. This is not an approach I often take with my fibroid patients but is worth trying in addition to other treatments.

Phytoestrogens help with hormone regulation and can be appropriate component of a fibroids protocol. Though phytoestrogens have structure similar to estrogen, they are weaker and can bind to estrogen receptors which helps to prevent the binding of xenoestrogens (strong artificial estrogens found in plastics and other chemicals). Flax in particular contains lignans (phytoestrogens) which increase levels of sex-hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). SHBG actually binds to estrogen and testosterone making more of these hormones in the inactive form.

Yes as it’s not considered a goitrogen like when you eat raw cruciferous vegetables as it doesn’t contain Isothiocyanate. That being said if you are on thyroid medication it must be taken a minimum of 2 hours apart.

Without knowing your history I wouldn't be able to fully give you the best assessment. In some cases having fibroids removed surgically can improve a woman't chances of getting pregnant if their location can prevent implantation or the travel of sperm. Though I did have a patient whose fibroid surgery did cause major weaknesses to her endometrium which prevented her from being able to carry a baby to term.

Hello, Dr.! Thank you for this video. I am scheduled for a UFE next week. I have over 30 fibroids ranging from 1cm to the size of a melon. The Dr. even says the big ones may not shrink very much due to initial size. I just started taking herbs to help shrink the fibroids. If I go forward with the UFE which will block blood flow to the fibroids will the herbs be able to get to the fibroids still? I’m trying to use herbs and UFE to get them as small as possible, keep my uterus, and fit my clothes again. Will the UFE limit the effect of the herbs?
