It’s absolutely hilarious reading some of these comments in this thread. “Dr. Brown doesn’t/won’t answer...” 🙄 Get his books and read them. He’s explained that he can’t answer every single dang objection, question in these formats because he would not have time for anything else, thus the reason he wrote the books. Come on, people. 🤦🏾‍♀️

R.Blumenthal and R.Singer should BOTH respond positively to debate Dr.Michael Brown (and another Christian apologist of his choice). I respectively suggest A DUEL-DEBATE of four participants with a fair and unbiased moderator. Why not ?

Absolutely. I think the four of you should get together AND LAY IT ALL OUT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE AND JUDGE FOR THEMSELVES. The two rabbi's should stop stomping their feet and stop accusing and maligning you and your books and videos AND (instead) GET IN AN ACTUAL, FAIR, MODERATED DEBATE FORUM. - Truth be told: that is what REASONABLE men would agree to. Blessings upon you and all those who uphold Truth. *Psalm **2:10**-12.*

With all due respect to Mr. Blumenthal. He *knows* Dr Brown is not only an effective expositor but knowledgeable in articulating historic facts. expressing how Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah spoken of throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Dr. Mike Brown's arguments are solid and many Jewish people are turning to faith so the good rabbi has to resort to making video presentations where he makes moot points instead of discussing issues face to face.

To be fair to him, Yisroel Blumenthal had requested a written debate and that’s where Contra Brown started and the reason behind that was writing gets all of the arguments on the table.

@Jacob Maya, my brother, Shalom. You do have a point here my dear. Christians give spiritual sonship to that matter. Is that suffice for you? I think it doesn't! But what is important in my view is that HaShem is being known, praised among the nations. Yeshua could be the Messiah because he indeed fulfilled some prophecies. Anyway, Yeshua has pointed to the Father; never cherished glory for himself. He criticized the Pharisees for their strictness of the Law when HaShem in many passages in the Tanak has pointed to that. He matters life much more than just interpretation. Please think about it. I do not follow the church when it wants to replace the faith, but there are millions of jews nowadays believing in the Mashiach but in a different way than the church.

I'm encouraged for a dialogue. People are talking and not budging. I post my thoughts and try to contribute but as great a tool as posting is .. very few use it to contribute toward restoration. If you were to listen to sermons on the second chapter of Ephesians you would hear gripping about Jews, so ya know their not getting the message. Jesus and Yeshua have to meet .. I see only one way .. this is what I generally post .. The Lord said He would declare the end from the beginning. The first verse of the Bible has 28 Hebrew letters. 72 is the number associated with Elohim. 28 X 72 = 2016 ~ Daniels time line began 11-29-1947 + 70 = 2017 This is the final Jubilee right now. 120 years are determined Genesis 6:3 a Jubilee is the year count.120 X 50 = 6000, now! We're not talking the end of the universe, that's a time no one knows only the Father. I believe we are separate from the Jew and should be joined Ephesians 2:14. He is himself our peace, who has made the two (become) one, and has demolished the syaga (wall) which stood in the midst, and the enmity, by his flesh. Read it completely and you see the identity of who is being joined. This is an event.. a lot is happening here, none of this level of restoration could happen, without the evidence found on the mercy seat. If you haven't heard any of this than look into Ron Wyatt

The answer is there...Judaism evolved and became the church that has been there since his death! But until Jews, and Protestants accept the truth of the Catholic Church...nothing will change.
@greglindstrom2733
@greglindstrom2733 8 жыл бұрын
Catholics aren't exposed to scripture, being a Catholic blinds you to even appreciating God but rather Mary is the number one choice for help. I never thought of Judaism transitioning into a type of Church, but ya it feels like church. A new plan is approaching, so here's the read.. To understand this you have to see who's being joined here? For it is by His grace we are rescued, through faith; and this is not of yourselves, but it is the gift of Elohim. (when opened). 9. Not of works, or else anyone glory (in themselves). 10. For we are His creation who are created in Y'shua the Mashiyach for good works which Elohim has before prepared for us to walk in. 11. Wherefore be mindful that you formerly were carnal Gentiles; and you were called the uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision of which is the work of the hands in the flesh. 12. And you were, at that time, without the Mashiyach; and were aliens from the Devarim of Israel; and strangers to the covenant of the promise; and were without hope and without Elohim in the world. 13. But now, by Y'shua the Mashiyach, you who before were afar off, have been brought near by the blood of the Mashiyach. 14. He is himself our peace, who has made the two (become) one, and has demolished the syaga (wall) which stood in the midst, and the enmity, by his flesh. 15. And in his flesh (the) enmity and regulations of commands(contained) in his commandments are abolished that in himself he might make the two into one, establishing peace. 16. And has reconciled both with Elohim in one body and has slain the enmity by his stake (of execution). 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more

@Jacob Maya In Luke 3:27, you can see that Mary also descended from zerubabel, and zarubabel was a descendant of King David. Not only that but even if Mary was not a descendant of King David, Jesus was still technically be of the line of David because in ancient Jewish tradition if a stepfather all of a sudden came in then that means that the son is still related to him. Matthew 12:30, Luke 11:23, Matthew 10:37, Matthew 12:49-50. Being truthful about facts does not make you an anti semite, it makes you truthful. No, it is not ok to hate anyone, yes, we should speak truth in love, but at some point, we must be willing to shake the dust from our feet and move on. Why lie and call someone a friend if they are an enemy to our savior. Does it mean I hate them, no. It means I have discernment. Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son can have the Father; whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well 1John 2:22

@notboundtosilence8337
@notboundtosilence8337 8 жыл бұрын
Anonymouslives Friendly, or loving, is different than calling someone a friend. You are my friends IF you do what I command you. ~Jesus We can know how we are to love by matthew 5:46, and how we are to greet and speak to people. We are to love, even those who we are not friends with. Love is something you do. It is something within you. It is not something you do with another person. You love regardless of the other persons behavior or beliefs. I have read the original comment we are commenting under. The person said nothing about acting in hate, or being unkind, or being an enemy. They simply said this man is not a man of God, and he is not a friend. I think the point is to recognize and have discernment about who your friends are. Dr. Brown called this Rabbi friend. I think it is fair to say that this rabbi is not his friend. Of course we speak to people in a friendly loving manner. But, that does not make everyone our friend. I would love it if those in the christian church would learn this. I have met few of them who can speak in a loving manner if they disagree with someone. Dr. Brown has invested a lot of time communicating with this rabbi one on one, yet the rabbi chooses to make a video like he did. Why? He has an agenda and Dr. Brown is a thorn in their side with his truths. That is no friend. Ezekiel 34:4-6 speaks to what these leaders were doing, and what they are still doing. Look, here is how it is, like it or not. We can speak truth in love, but we cannot change anyone, and we cannot convince anyone. Only the Holy Spirit can do that. We have beat the topic into the ground. The conversation is pointless. Insinuating that someone hates jews or is telling Dr. Brown not to speak friendly or lovingly to someone is just a false accusation. Nothing like that was said. I am going to have to mute this post and move on with my life. . So, I hope you all have a blessed peaceful day.

Dr. Brown, You are apparently very educated and learned in biblical knowledge. As a young man lacking a Torah observant household you had a spiritual and emotional encounter that led you to your current beliefs. It is so sad that your current beliefs are in man made catholic doctrines like the trinity and the worship of man as God. One day you and all Jews who have turned aside will return home to Yehovah the Holy One of Israel. And also on that day the son of the gentile who joins himself to Yehovah will recognize that they have inherited nothing but lies from their religion and will say to Jewish men “let us go with you for we have heard that God is with you“

Listen, people, be rational! There is NO WAY that Jesus could be the prophesied messiah. Not only is there NOTHING in the Tenak that prophesies or points to Jesus in any coherent way, but the scriptures actually exclude him from being messiah, as #i will explain below from the book of Ezekiel. But first, Isaiah 53 is not about a messiah, and the word "messiah" nowhere appears in the book of Isaiah. Besides the fact that Isaiah himself clearly DEFINES who the "servant" is many times in his book - and the definition is invariably the same, namely "he" is the nation of Israel, or at least the righteous Jews of Israel - there is no concept in Isaiah 53 of the "servant" atoning for any one's sins; the "servant" suffers BECAUSE of or ON ACCOUNT OF the iniquity of the Gentiles (Assyrians). The servant does not suffer "for" their sins or iniquities, so there is no atonement implied. Furthermore, the servant has seed ("zera"), which means children (Isaiah 53:10). Moreover the context is about the suffering of the Jews at the hands of the Assyrians (in about 700 BCE), and the tenses used in Isaiah 53 are in the PAST. There is no evidence presented that it is describing events 700 years into the future! Isaiah is describing what his own eyes are seeing and in real time! It is easy to disprove categorically that Jesus is messiah, based purely on the book of Ezekiel. Both Jew and Christian alike agree that the Temple described in the book of Ezekiel still awaits fulfillment. It has not been built. Associated with this third Temple is the future messiah, and Ezekiel goes into more detail about him than any other book in the Tenakh. In Ezekiel 37:25, messiah is called a "prince". He is a princely priest. Ezekiel PROVES that this future messiah CANNOT be the Jesus of the New Testament There are at least three reasons how we know that Jesus is excluded: 1) In the third Temple, animal sacrifice is to be restored! Yet in the NT letter to the Hebrews (and elsewhere in the NT), we are told that Jesus is the ULTIMATE sacrifice, which makes all blood sacrifice after him redundant, ignorant and futile. For example in Ezekiel 43:19, God orders the princely messianic priest to offer blood sacrifice in the Temple: ".You are to give a young bull as a sin offering to the priests.." We find that bulls, goats and rams are also to be sacrificed in the Temple. 2) Ezekiel chapter 45:22 returns to the prince messiah: "On that day [Passover] THE PRINCE IS TO PROVIDE A BULL FOR HIMSELF AND FOR ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND. EVERY DAY HE IS TO PROVIDE SEVEN BULLS AND SEVEN RAMS WITHOUT DEFECT AS A BURNT OFFERING TO THE LORD." So here we find that not only is blood sacrifice to be restored in the Temple generally, but that the messiah must offer blood sacrifice TO COVER HIS OWN SIN! Therefore, this princely messiah (yet to come) cannot be perfect! If messiah is divine, as Christians maintain, how can God offer blood sacrifice to himself to cover his (God's) sin?!! 3) But it gets still more unsustainable for the Christian belief that Jesus is the messiah: Ezekiel 46:16 says that the prince "makes a gift from his inheritance to one of his sons, and it will also belong to his descendants." So, we find that the messiah will have CHILDREN! So tell me, O Christian, will your Jesus procreate after returning to earth on the clouds of heaven?! Christians, stop your nonsense!

Dr. Brown, if you would let go of the Catholic "Trinity" doctrine, I believe you would be a little bit more successful with the Jews (people of God). The Catholic catechism admits on page 74, sec. 251 that they developed the Trinity through the use of philosophy. Check it out. Protestants and Reformed believers were not around when the Trinity was developed. Christians had nothing to do with the development of such dogma. To say today, that the Trinity is biblical, is to lie to the people of God. Remember, Catholics do not believe in "Sola Scriptura." One of the philosophical notions used was "Persons." This means that the definition used by Trinitarians, "one God, three persons" is philosophical, not biblical. Saying that these persons are coeternal, or coequal comes from the "Athanasian Creed" which is a forgery. Check it out! God bless.

Christians are largely sourced from the lost tribes of Northern Israel, who had effectively become uncircumcised gentiles, unaware of who they were. God faithfully, not forgetting them, for He loves them, brings many of us into His blessed Church, who is His bride, drawn forth from the progeny of Joseph and Rachel, Rachel representing the beloved bride. Joseph representing all of The Northern Kingdom. The verses express The Church. We each have The Holy Spirit, who teaches us all things. We all have Bibles we are able to read and understand, with the help of The Holy Spirit. This prophecy is actually fulfilled in The Church, which has, with devotion and through genuine fellowship with God these abilities. We are all priests unto The LORD. To rightly divide The Word of God one must learn to recognize and understand the distinctions between The Northern and The Southern Kingdoms of Israel, and how God deals with them individually. They only become one in the end, under one Shepherd. In the mean time God gives prophecies about them and promises to them, which He faithfully fulfills, individually. It all goes back to the promises He gave Abraham, that he would be the father of many nations and also even further back to Noah's prophesy about Shem, Japheth and Ham. God is keeping His promises to Abraham, all nations would be blessed through his progeny.

(From the Complete Jewish Bible) Then God said, "Let US make humankind in OUR image, in the likeness of OURSELVES;.... Note the words "us, our, & ourselves." These are plural words! If God is a single individual & there is no Jesus or Holy Spirit then why the plurality? Who is us, our, & ourselves?From the BEGINNING of mankind God states His plurality. This proves from the beginning to all people, Jew & Gentile that there is a Trinity. Simple!! JESUS IS MESCHIACH & the Holy Spirit is HIS spirit brought to earth as His guide for all mankind.

Well, if what you say is true, why just three? I mean if it so clearly plural as you state, then why isn't 5 or 20 or 83? Where in Genesis or anywhere in Torah does it refer three?

Also, where in the "complete jewish bible" do you find the term "holy spirit". If it is so obvious, surely there is a passage that refers to it.

Debbie Thompson I believe in Jesus but I don’t believe in three persons make up God. God can speak in a plural way due to his manifestations in the saving of human kind. The Bible does not support the trinity.

It's very obvious that after Jesus when the temple was destroyed and since then have not been able to rebuild a temple. And the muslims seem to be holding the Temple Mount hostage. That in itself says it all. Don't get me wrong though I don't dislike them in any way. I hope they put God first above all else.

We need more of Dr. Brown...may God continue to give you strength and may your replacement be as eloquent and energetic as you are. God bless! I'm all for the debate. I think the Rabbis are scared. It feels like a deja vu as in how the Pharisees stood in the way of Paul when he preached the Gospel with a sound mind, knowledge and with divine miracles. Paul outclassed the Pharisees in every way. I'm glad that we are moving past the killing otherwise Dr. Brown might have to fear for his life. It also shows that the Bible is indeed God's word. I always ask about the 144,000. However when I saw Dr. Brown speaking boldly to the JEWS and converting them...that's amazing....I think he might be 1/144,000. I'm glad to see one. However, it also signaled the beginning of the end.

Greetings in Jesus Christ,Khalifah klothing. First,I love Michael Brown for so graciously answering these false allegations made about him,for his words,and heart,and spirit,represent the heart of our Messiah(Jesus Christ!).Secondly,Isaiah 53 so clearly shows first and foremost the sufferings our Messiah willing subjected Himself to to save all people that come to faith in Him,and have their sins washed away forever by the precious Lamb of God(Jesus Christ)! And,of course people must repent and obey His commands in His teachings in the New Testament,as well as what applies to all christians from the Old Testament! (Just remember that no laws from the O.T. or N.T. can ever save you from your sins! Only Jesus Christ's precious blood can wash away all sin forever--except the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.) Lastly,Isaiah 53,like Mike Brown said in this video,represents part one in which Jesus Christ lives a perfect sinless life,and then is rejected,beaten,and crucified on the Cross at Calvary. However,death had no power over Jesus Christ,as he rises from death on the third day,and proves forever that He qualifies to be the Jewish Savior and Messiah for all Jews and all Gentiles that will surrender their lives to Him and receive new resurrection life in Jesus Christ,the Messiah. We believe what Christ accomplished in Hid death,burial,and resurrection from death. Jesus Christ,then,lives in our hearts,souls,and bodies as we obey the Word of God,and the Holy Spirit,sent by Christ to help us obey Christ in all things in the sacred Scriptures. May the Holy Spirit open the eyes of all men,women,boys,and girls,to the vital truths in Jesus Christ. And,soon,you will see all of the prophecies from the Old Testament fulfilled when Jesus returns again,to judge the righteouss and the wicked unto eternal life. May the 144,000 Jewish Evangelists in Revelation open your heart to Jewish Christ as Lord and Messiah of your life for all eternity. Many Jews will come to faith in Jewish Christ as the Scriptures are unfolded--- and as they say in the Book of Revelation. I pray that Jesus Christ will open your heart to Him today. He is a perfect Savior from all sin,and he is God! I love you all in the Agape Love of Abba Father,Lord Jesus Christ,and the Holy Spirit! Sincerely,BobbyK

bobby, NOTHING you wrote in your post has anything to do with the book of Isaiah, nor is it supported anywhere in the Tanakh. The term "messiah"" never appears in Isaiah 53 or elsewhere in his book. Moreover, the chapter is written in the past tense (e.g. he WAS despised and rejected...), indicating that the suffering of the "servant" had already occurred at the time of writing.

@@psandbergnzWhat do you make of Daniel 9:26 ? Messiah would die before the destruction of the 2nd temple. Only Jesus fulfilled such prophecy. Prophecies can be formed in past or present tense and still not yet be fulfilled in that time period they're written. They're meant to show when the prophecy is fulfilled, we will look back on them and see clearly, like "hindsight is 20/20". Zechariah 12:10, where Israel shall see the Messiah (Yeshua / Jesus) and they will see Him Whom they *PIERCED,* indeed. Jesus was PIERCED (crucified), and they will acknowledge it then. That is future prophecy. Wait 'til Jesus comes back, and then you will see. 🙂 Isaiah 53 clearly shows Someone suffering, dying for OUR (the worlds) sins AND living again (Isaiah 53:6). When did someone die and rise from the dead for someone elses sins? Jesus is the One Who did this. 🙂 Psalm 22:16, they pierced His hands and His feet. Crucifixion (nailing hands and feet to cross) did not exist at the time that this psalm was written. It did exist under the roman empire, when Jesus came, and Jesus was nailed hands and feet to the cross. The word "Messiah" does not have to show up in Isaiah, when the description is given anyway. When you read the Son who will be born to us is *The Mighty God* do you think this is just some everyday joe shmoe average person? No. Isaiah 9:6 is obviously about Messiah. Same with Isaiah 7:14, where Messiah will be born of a virgin, for His birth is from God Himself. The miraculous conception. Micah 5:2 is prophecy of Messiah, born in Bethlehem, and He shall be from eternity (God). Psalm 2:12, telling us to kiss the Son, lest His anger be kindled but a little and they perish because of their rebellion against Him. BLESSED are those who trust in Him (the Son). Yes, Yeshua, the Son of God Almighty. The Messiah. 🙂

+ITenthusiast ITenthusiast Really? Are you sure you know your rabbinic tradition well? _"But one unity, three persons which are one, this is indicated by the voice in reading 'Hear O Israel', thereby comprehending with the understanding the most perfect unity who is infinite because all three - YHVH Elohim YHVH - are read with one voice which indicates three. And this is the daily faith of the unity which is revealed by the mystery of God. Although there are many persons united in the unity, yet each person is a true one. What the one does, so does the other"_ - Zohar, Shemoth, Raya Mehemna 43b _"YHVH, Eloheinu, YHVH (Deut 6:4), are (i.e., denote) the Three Steps in the Godhead, by which we can comprehend the profound mystery implied in the words, "In the beginning Elohim (These are God), created," &c. (Gen 1:1)."_ Zohar, Gen., p. 15, versa _"Three there are; each exists by Himself, though they are One."_ Book of Creation, p. 89, versa _The reason why it is said: 'Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know, that the Lord He is God' (Deut __4:35__), is the desire that thou shouldest not separate the Inherent Ones, the three Persons united in the eternal, although the attributes are spoken of in the plural, yet whatever attributes are in the one are also in the other."_ [Here follows the quotation from the Zohar up above] _"These are secrets which are revealed only to those who are reaping upon the holy field, as it is written (Psa __25:14__), 'The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him.'"_ R. Mechanem _"'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.' This verse is the root of our faith (religion), therefore Moses records it after the ten commandments. The reason (that there is said YHVH, our God, and YHVH) is, because the word Shema does not here signify Hear; but to gather together, to unite, as in 1 Samuel 15:4, 'Saul gathered together the people.' The meaning implied is, The Inherent Ones_ [lit. Implanted Ones] _are so united together, one in the other without end, they being the exalted God. He mentions the three names mystically to indicate the three exalted original Ones (lit. Ancient Ones)."_ Ibid _"Thus are the three Spirits united in one. The Spirit which is downwards (that is, counting three), who is called the Holy Spirit; the Spirit which is the middle pillar, who is called the Spirit of Wisdom and of Understanding, also called the Spirit below._ [In the original text there is a parenthesis: "But that Spirit which goes forth from the horn comprehends fire and water." The ram's-horn, which is blown on new year's day, represents the *lamb*, which God provided instead of Isaac (Gen 22:13). The threefold sound with the ram's-horn is an emblem of the threefold nature in the Unity of the Godhead] _The upper Spirit is hidden in secret; in Him are existing all the holy Spirits (the Holy Spirit and the Middle-Pillar), and all that is light" (lit., all faces giving light)."_ Zohar, vol. iii., p. 26 And Who is the One in the middle pillar? _"A certain king had a variety of buildings to be erected; and he had a master-builder, who, however, was not permitted to do anything without the king's permission, as said (Prov __8:30__), "Then I was by him as a master-builder." The king is evidently the Wisdom in the heavens above, and the Middle-pillar is the king upon the earth. Elohim is the master-builder above...and Elohim is the master-builder below, and this is the Shechinah upon the earth. The buildings could only come through the Emanation from God (the Father). The Father spake through the _*_Word_*_ (Memra) this and that be, and immediately it was; as it is written (Gen 1:3), and He, Elohim, said, "Let there be light, and there was light. The Lord of Creation commanded, and the master-builder did it. Thus the Emanation of God_ [i.e. the Memra] _created all things. He said, let there be a firmament, let there be light, and it was immediately. When God appeared in the world of the intelligences, which is the world of the separated ones (Angels), the master-builder said to the Lord of the buildings: "Let us make man after our image, after our likeness."_ Ibid, Gen. 22 _"And the WORD (Memra) of the Lord said unto Moses: I am He who said unto the world, Be! and it was: and who in the future shall say to it, Be! and it shall be. And He said: Thus thou shalt say to the children of Israel: I AM hath sent me unto you."_ Jerusalem Targum, Edoxus 3:12 _"From the beginning with wisdom, the WORD (Memra) of the Lord created, formed and perfected the Heavens and the Earth."_ Targum Neofiti, Genesis 1:1 _"And the WORD (Memra) of the Lord said: Let there be light and there was Light by His WORD (Memra)."_ Klein, Fragment-Targums, 1:43. I could provide you many many more but I think this is enough to prove how wrong you are and that, in the ancient rabbinic tradition, the concept of a Tri-Unity in the Godhead was very well understood, as it was very well understood the role of the Memra (Word). Especially the Jerusalem Targum is all about the Memra.

***** ***** Two of the clearest passages in the TaNaKh about the Tri-Unity of the Godhead are surely Isaiah 48:12-16 and 63:7-14: _"Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. 13 Indeed My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand up together. 14 All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? YHVH has loved him; he shall do His pleasure on Babylon, and His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. 15 I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way will prosper. 16 Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now Lord YHVH have sent Me and His Spirit."_ - Isaiah 48:12-16 The speaker here refers himself as the one who is responsible for the creation of the heavens and the earth. It is clear that he cannot be speaking as anyone other than YHVH Himself given the terms used. In verse 16, then, the speaker explicitly distinguishes himself from Lord (Adonai) YHVH and the Spirit (Ruach) of YHVH. From the Targumim is easy to understand that the One speaking here is the Word as I've demonstrated in the previous post with the Targum Neofiti on Genesis 1:1 and the Targum Jerusalem on Exodus 3:12 and also: _It is I who have made the earth by my Word, and I have created man upon it; it is I who have suspended the heavens by my power, and I have laid the foundation of all the hosts of them._ Johnatan Targum, Isaiah 45:12 As for Isaiah 63:7-14: _"I will make mention of the mercies of YHVH, and the praises of YHVH, according to all that YHVH hath bestowed on us; and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He hath bestowed on them according to His compassions, and according to the multitude of His mercies. 8 For He said: 'Surely, they are My people, children that will not deal falsely'; so He was their Saviour. 9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old. 10 But they rebelled, and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He was turned to be their enemy, Himself fought against them. 11 Then His people remembered the days of old, the days of Moses: 'Where is He that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He that put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them? 12 That caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses? That divided the water before them, to make Himself an everlasting name? 13 That led them through the deep, as a horse in the wilderness, without stumbling? 14 As the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of YHVH caused them to rest; so didst Thou lead Thy people, to make Thyself a glorious name.'"_ - Isaiah 63:7-14 In this second passage there is a reflection back to the time of the Exodus where all three personalities were present and active. YHVH Himself is referred to in verse 7, the Angel of YHVH (that is the "Angel of the Covenant", see Malachi 3:1) in verse 9 and the Spirit of YHVH in verses 10, 11 and 14. While often throughout the Hebrew Scriptures God refers to Himself as being the one solely responsible for Israel's redemption from Egypt, in this passage three personalities are given credit for it. Yet, no contradiction is seen since all three comprise the unity of the one Godhead. Who is the Angel of YHVH (the Angel of the Covenant) mentioned here? Rabbi Meir ben Gabai explains this very plainly: _"We may even say more , that the Ten Commandments have not come to Israel only through the mediator (Moses), according to the literal meaning of the Scriptures. It was the Angel whom the patriarch Jacob makes mention of, which Angel is not one of the (created) intelligences, but the Angel, the Redeemer, of whom it is written (Exo __14:19__), 'The Angel removed,' and this Angel is God; He it is who made Israel to hear the Ten Commandments, as it is written (Exo 20:1), 'And God spake all these words.'"_ Avodat Hakodesh, part IV p.189 _"Concerning what is written, And the Angel of the Lord spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: and I said, Here am I."_ Ibid. part iii., cap. xxxi. p. 120 Once again, from the Targumim, it's easily understood who this Angel is, as He is the one who appears to Jacob, He is the One that delivers Israel from Egypt and gives the ten commandments (exactly like mentioned): _And Jakob vowed a vow, saying, If the Word of the Lord will be my help, and will keep me in that way in which I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to wear, and bring me again in peace to my father's house, the Word of the Lord shall be my God._ Onkelos Targum, Genesis 28:15-16 _And I have revealed Myself to thee this day, that by My Word they may be delivered from this hand of the Mizraee, to bring them up out of the unclean land, unto a good land, and large in its boundaries, a land yielding milk and honey; unto the place where dwell the Kenaanaee, and the Hittaee, and the Amoraee, and the Pherizaee, and the Hivaee, and the Jebusaee._ Palestinian Targum, Exodus 3:8 _And He said, Therefore My Word shall be for thy help; and this shall be the sign to thee that I have sent thee: when thou hast brought the people forth from Mizraim, ye shall worship before the Lord, because ye shall have received the Law upon this mountain._ Palestinian Targum, Exodus 3:12 _And thou shalt instruct thy son on that day, saying, This precept is on account of what the Word of the Lord did for me in miracles and wonders, in bringing me forth from Mizraim._ Palestinian Targum, Exodus 13:8 _And when the Word of the Lord had hardened the heart of Pharoh (that he would) not deliver us, he killed all the firstborn in the land of Mizraim, from the firstborn of man to the firstborn of cattle; therefore do I sacrifice before the Lord every male that openeth the womb, and every firstborn of my sons I redeem with silver._ Palestinian Targum, Exodus 13:15 _And the Word of the Lord conducted the people by the way of the desert of the sea of Suph; armed in good works went up the sons of Israel, free from the land of Mizraim._ Jerusalem Targum, Exodus 13:18 _And Mosheh prayed before the Lord, and the Word of the Lord showed him the tree of Ardiphene, and he cast it into the midst of the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There did the Word of the Lord show unto him statutes and orders of judgment, and there He tried him with trials in the tenth trial. For I am the Lord who healeth thee by My Word._ Jerusalem Targum, Exodus 15:25-26 _And Mosheh came and called the sages of Israel, and set in order before them all these words which the Word of the Lord had commanded him. And all the people answered together in the fulness of their heart, and said, All that the Word of the Lord hath spoken, we will do. And Mosheh returned the words of the people in prayer before the Lord._ Jerusalem Targum, Exodus 19:7-8 _"And the Word of the Lord spake all the excellency of these words, saying: I am the Lord thy God, who have brought thee out of the land of Mizraim, out of the house of servitude.Thou shalt have no other God beside Me. Thou shalt not make to thee image nor likeness of any thing that is in the heavens above, nor in the earth beneath, nor in the waters under the earth..."_ Jerusalem Targum, Exodus 20:1 + fragments etc. And so in the Targumin the Word is also the Redeemer: _When the Word of the Lord shall reveal Himself to redeem His people, He will say to all the nations: Behold now, that I am He who Am, and Was, and Will Be, and there is no other God beside Me_ Palestinian Targum, Deuteronomy 34:39 _Israel shall be saved by the Word of the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded for ever, yea, for ages after ages._ Johnatan Targum, Isaiah 45:17 And the "Redeemer" (Goel) is also how the Messiah is called in many of the Midrashm, for example: _“‘Who art thou, O great mountain?’ (Zechariah 4:7). The great mountain means Messiah, and why does he speak of him thus? Because he is greater than the patriarchs, as it is said, ‘Behold my servant shall prosper’ [Isaiah __52:13__]. I have learnt it from the words of R.Moshe haDarshan: The Redeemer (Goel) whom I shall raise up from among you will have no father, as it is written, ‘Behold the man whose name is Zemah [branch], and he shall branch up out of his place’ (Zechariah __6:12__); and so Isaiah says,‘And he came uplike a sucker,’ [Isaiah 53:2] etc."_ Genesis Rabbah of Rabbi Moshe haDarshan (35): This Midrash is also interesting because the Messiah is clearly represented as not having a physical father. The ancient rabbinic tradition so clearly points out to Yeshua/Jesus as the Messiah that the only reason why so many Jews nowadays are still not Messianic is only because the modern rabbis obscure from them this knowledge. The rabbinic tradition for the modern rabbis is only the one that comes after Rashi; all that comes before is erased as if not either existing. In many of my discussions with orthodox Jews it is difficult to find one of them that have even read the Aramaic Targumim or that know the Zohar or the Midrashim before Rashi. Actually it is even difficult to find many of them that know the TaNaKh well; most just know only the Talmud deeply.
@Amioran

***** I did just now and also before I did it in part because I also quoted you the Targumim that ARE scripture: they are theological interpretations of scripture by Jewish sages that knew the TaNaKh deeply; all their theological understanding of the Memra comes from the Hebrew Scriptures themselves. Everyone that knows even just a little Hebrew and the TaNaKh well will be able to come to the same conclusions (in fact also modern rabbis do, they just try to explain these things in another way - for example by the plurale majestatis or that the "Word of the Lord" is just another name of God, two completely absurd arguments for everyone that actually knows a little the context to be frank, but they suffice for those that don't) since many passages are very clear in demonstrating the plurality of the Godhead and they all come in specific situations, for example after the terms "Word of YHVH" (דְבַר־יְהוָה֙) or the "Angel of the Lord" appears, as for example after the encounter of Abraham with YHVH in Mamre (see Genesis 15:1 and 18:1 and then how YHVH rains down sulfur and fire from YHVH out of Heaven in 19:24 that, in the Targumin, becomes "the Word of the Lord rained sulphur and fire from the Lord out of Heaven" just for this), after which the first instance of Elohim used in the plural is found "when God (Elohim) THEY caused me to wander from my house". The Jewish sages didn't invent the theological concept of the Memra (Word), they acknowledged such a theological concept from their study of the text, by looking at all the context, and many scholars could do and can do likewise, and I've evidenced this in the previous post with a quote from the famous Rabbi Meir ben Gabai on the matter of the "Angel of the Lord" that did fit perfectly with the Targumim (another example: in Psalm 33:6 we find, 'By the Word of the Lord [דְבַר־יְהוָה֙] were the heavens made" and in Proverbs 8:5 "To Him, who by Wisdom made the heavens" and so the Targum Neofiti harmonizes the two passages of Scripture with - as we have seen before -"From the beginning with Wisdom, the Word of the Lord created, formed and perfected the Heavens and the Earth"). . But however it is fun how an orthodox Jew is really pretending that he follows "only Scripture". Yeah, how not, in fact the Talmud is "only scripture", is it? If there's something the farthest away from Scripture that's the Talmud. The primary reason why the Pharisees rejected their Messiah was for the "oral law", that Jesus called "traditions of men". That same "oral law" is what you have today in the Talmud. So it is totally amusing that you insist that you are only interested in Scripture when the only reason you reject your Messiah in reality is because your adherence to traditions created by men.

This is all scripture you can't argue with it. All you can do is ask, Who's being joined here? 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Seek the L-rd while you can find HIM. Call on him now while HE is near. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31. What about Leviticus 26;38-44 the verses dealing with repentance, restoration, return to God & his mercies & kindness for all who repent & amend their ways!?Ezekiel 18:5-27, and 33:11-15Psalm 32:5-6Psalm 50:8-15Psalm 51:16-17In the first Book of Kings, Chapter 8. When King Solomon is building the temple and giving a dedication speech, he asks the question: What happens if the Jewish people are taken away from Israel into captivity? How do they atone for their sins in that case? And he says in verses 48-50 that if they repent and turn to G-d and pray to G-d, then G-d will forgive his people and He will pardon them from their transgressions. And actually we see this throughout the Bible. That through prayer and repenting it's possible to achieve atonement for all of our sins.In the fourth chapter of Hosea was writing for the Jewish people in the northern kingdom of Israel, the ten northern tribes who were not able to go to Jerusalem because of the civil war that was going on. And in the fourteenth chapter, verses 1 and 2, Hosea says: "Israel, Return to the Lord your G-d, for you have fallen by your iniquity. Take with you words and turn to the Lord. Say unto Him take away all iniquity and receive us graciously for we will render the calves of our lips". That through prayer it's as if we're offering sacrifices to G-d.In the thirty-second Book of Chronicles, chapter 7:14, G-d says: "My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, and I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."In the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 18:21, G-d says: "If the wicked will turn from all his sins that he has committed and keep all of my laws and do that which is lawful and right, he will surely live, he shall not die. All of his transgressions that he has committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him. In his righteousness that he has done he shall live."In the Book of Jonah, chapter 3, the prophet comes to the city of Nineveh and warns the people that G-d is about to destroy them. But Jonah doesn't tell them that they must start offering blood sacrifices. The people take his warning seriously and they begin to repent of their evil and they turn from their evil ways and G-d does not destroy them and He accepts their repentance.In the Book of Daniel, chapter 4, Daniel tells the king to break off his sins by righteousness and his iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. And yet Christian missionaries insist that G-d cannot forgive the Jewish people unless they bring sacrifices. They actually limit the power of G-d. We know from the Bible that G-d is a G-d of mercy and oftentimes will forgive people even though they don't repent properly.For example, in the Book of Micah, chapter 7:18, we're told: "Who is a G-d like unto You that pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage. He retains not His anger forever because He delights in mercy." Psalm 78, verse 37, "For their heart was not right with Him, neither were they steadfast in His covenant. But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and destroyed them not. Many a time turned His anger away and did not stir up all His wrath. For He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away and comes not again."In the forty-third chapter of the Book of Isaiah, the prophet tells the Jewish people that even though they didn't offer their offerings properly and they didn't bring the proper sacrifices, G-d blots out their transgressions for His own sake and He won't remember their sins anymore.It's clear throughout the Bible that the real focus of our spiritual relationship with G-d is not so much in bringing sacrifices but in maintaining a proper relationship with G-d by obedience and by listening to G-d.Hosea, chapter 6:6 says: "I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and a knowledge of G-d more than burnt offerings."In Psalm 51 David says: "Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O G-d, G-d of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You desire not sacrifice or else I would give it. You delight not in burnt offering. But the sacrifices of G-d are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. G-d, you will not despise these."In the Book of Proverbs, chapter 21:3, we're told that to do justice and judgment is more acceptable to G-d than sacrifices.In the famous first chapter of the Book of Isaiah, the prophet asks the Jewish people: What are the purpose of all the sacrifices they're bringing? He says in verse 18:"Come, Let us reason together, says G-d. For your sins be as scarlet, they shall become as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." Because in verse 27 G-d says: "Zion will be redeemed with judgment and her repentant people with righteousness."If Christians insist upon reading Leviticus, Chapter 17:11 literally, they actually come into some tremendous problems. Because it says that only blood offered on the altar can serve as an atonement for sins. Since at the time of Jesus the altar was standing in Jerusalem and his blood was not offered on the altar, he could never really serve as an atonement for sins.0.. Reason why.. Ezekiel 18: 20 The person who sins is the one that will die - a son is not to bear his father’s guilt with him, nor is the father to bear his son’s guilt with him; but the righteousness of the righteous will be his own, and the wickedness of the wicked will be his own.21 “However, if the wicked person repents of all the sins he committed, keeps my laws and does what is lawful and right; then he will certainly live, he will not die. 22 None of the transgressions he has committed will be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done, he will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure at all in having the wicked person die?” asks Adonai Elohim. “Wouldn’t I prefer that he turn from his ways and live?24 “On the other hand, when the righteous person turns away from his righteousness and commits wickedness by acting in accordance with all the disgusting practices that the wicked person does, will he live? None of the righteous deeds he has done will be remembered; for the trespasses and sins he has committed, he will die

A visionary in the spirit hears his official name being called from a far off, to which the Holy Spirit prompts him to head the call, while so, one of the Cherubs from The Ark of the Covenant was at his side with a book in hand asking the visionary to look for his name in it, he did find himself in, at the same time witnesses a lake, silvery in color, dead still , death itself, the prophesied Lake of Fire for those whose names are not found in the book of Life. "Rejoice not that ye are able to tread over serpents & scorpions, but rather rejoice that your names are written in the Lambs book of Life in heaven" The visionary in the spirit finds himself walking alongside a certain captain having multiple stripes over both his shoulder blades, walking up a slope to see the Captain off at the gate, all the while conversing, while at the gate the Captain looking up, put his right palm over his lips gesturing "Jesus My Love" . The visionary on seeing & hearing this greatly rejoiced in his heart exclaiming "Mine to" twice & so saying shook hands . Later on he realized that the incident was a visitation by St. Michael the Archangel in the spirit. Archangel Michael the Captain of the Hosts, of the Lord God of hosts, the Elohim who wrestled with the patriarch Jacob unto naming him Israel, even as prophesied unto Daniel of the manner "At that time shall the great prince Michael stand up for the children of thy people , found written in the book, which book invariably , without doubt is the Lamb's book of life. A Jew is known by his association with the Ark of the Covenant, where the one made by Moses as mentioned in Jeremiah 3:16- that the said Ark shall not be thought off about, nor another made again, which but are left with the Ark, that the beloved Apostle witnessed in the temple in heaven, the Original, a copy of which was what Moses made, is but to know that in heaven everything is alive no artifacts etc. In short God has only ONE Covenant for all of heaven & earth The revelation of the Ark of the Covenant which the beloved Apostle witnessed in heaven, comes by the prophecy of Jeremiah, also known as the prophet of the New Covenant, in 2Maccabees2 4-8, which is the gathering unto himself, individually in the spirit, taken in spirit to the said Cave at Horeb, wherein is witnessed The Ark of the Covenant, the Rock of our Salvation, seeing the Glory of God, as an eternal inheritance unto him from earth, just as Moses saw the inheritance upon the mount; except that it is not to any land as such but unto God himself. It again comes as the revelation of the prophecy of Jesus of the manner "Ye know not the Father, neither the Son , but them unto whom the Son pleases to reveal" It would be prudent for a Jew who have not the Christ, running after false gods, to remember the words of God off 'ole "Ye shall not enter into my rest" Not for any private interpretation but for the truth & authenticity of the Scriptures.

In my opinion: I think that the Rabbis are attempting to protect the Jewish culture and uniqueness from the on slot of gentile culture. Than it becomes something other than religious truth but a worldview fortress mindset. It's ironic that Judaism with Jesus at its center would make being Jewish supremely important. But no - uniqueness of Judaism which rejects gentiles becomes the purpose rather than G-d's truth.

How do you address this Dr. Brown? And no - 'echad is a complex unity' is not a valid answer. Is 43;11 I, even I, am the LORD (יהוה); and *beside me there is no saviour.* Hosea 13;4 Yet I am the LORD (יהוה) thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: *for there is no saviour beside me.”*

When we read Tanakh , we see HaShem identified as the Savior and Redeemer. Isaiah 63 HaShem is the Saviour. 8 For He said: 'Surely, they are My people, children that will not deal falsely'; so He was their Saviour לְמוֹשִׁיעַ HaShem is the Redeemer. 16 For Thou art our Father; for Abraham knoweth us not, and Israel doth not acknowledge us; Thou, O LORD, art our Father, our Redeemer גֹּאֲלֵנוּ from everlasting is Thy name. Moreover, there is another Divine Person called the Angel of His presence, who is the Savior and the Redeemer. 9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them הוֹשִׁיעָם; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them גְאָלָם; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old. Therefore, we can understand that the Angel of Presence is a Divine Person who is a distinct individual equivalent to HaShem.

I would like to introduce to you a modern Jewish scholar, Benjamin D. Sommer. He is not a Christian or a Messianic believer in Jesus. In his book The Bodies of God and the World of Ancient Israel, Sommer objectively demonstrates that according to his reading of the Jewish Bible, God has manifested Himself in physical bodies and multiple embodiments of God is well understood within the teaching of Judaism. Some excerpts are displayed as follows: p. 40 “In many passages, the word malakh- literally, “messenger,” but usually translated “angel”) means a small-scale manifestation of God’s own presence, and the distinction between the messenger and God is murky.... The malakh in these cases is not a being separate from Yhwh whom Yhwh sent on a mission; rather, it is a part of the deity that can act on its own. Alternatively, it is possible that Yhwh temporarily overlaps with some heavenly beings who do God’s bidding (which suggests a model different from that of an avatar). This conception also occurs in several passages in which Yhwh becomes ambiguously manifest to humans even without the use of the technical term malakh.” P.41 "A further example of this understanding of malakh as a humble and incomplete manifestation of Yhwh is found in another JE passage, Exodus 3-4. There we are initially told that a malakh appeared to Moses (3.2), but in the remainder of the chapter, it is Yhwh Himself who converses with the shepherd-turned-prophet. The famous fire in this passage, which burned in the bush without burning the bush, is nothing other than a small-scale manifestation of God. This humble manifestation resembles the larger one that would take place at the same mountain not long thereafter, when the Israelites received law at Sinai. [Exodus3.2], is the bet essentiae: These words should thus be translated, “Yhwh’s small-scale manifestation appeared to him as [or: in the form of] a flame of fire from the midst of the bush.” Jacob wrestled with God P.41 "A similar phenomenon occurs in the famous J narrative in Genesis 32 in which Jacob wrestles with a being initially described simply as a אִישׁ man¡¨ (vy6, 32.25). One soon senses that this man is in fact some sort of otherworldly being, because he cannot remain on earth once the sun rises and because his name is a secret. (It is perfectly normal to find a text referring to an angel as an אִישׁ [man] in the Hebrew Bible; see Genesis 18.2, 19.1; Judges 13.16; Zechariah 1.8, 11; Daniel 9.21.14) Jacob names the place of this encounter Peniel ("face of God¨), saying "I have seen 'elohim face to face, yet my life was saved" (32.31). The word 'elohim can refer both to a lower ranking divine being (or angel) and to the God also known as Yhwh, and it is not clear which meaning the text intends here. Hosea 12.4-6, interestingly, takes it to mean both as it summarizes this story in poetic parallelism: In his might he wrestled 'elohim, He wrestled an angel (mal'akh) and prevailed. . . . It was Yhwh, the God of hosts; Yhwh was His name. One might initially suggest that in the first of these lines the word 'elohim means the plural noun "divine beings¨ and not the singular noun "God" but the text goes on immediately to identify the 'elohim: "It was Yhwh. . ." (12.6).15 In other words, in Hosea 12 the being who wrestled with Jacob was not a mal'akh who also could be called an 'elohim; rather, it was the God Yhwh, who can also be termed a mal'akh. The reason for the apparent confusion between God and angel in these verses from Hosea is simply that both passages, Hosea 12 and Genesis 32, reflect a belief that the selves of an angel and the God Yhwh could overlap or that a small-scale manifestation or fragment of Yhwh can be termed a mal'akh."

Dr. Brown insist God appeared in visible forms by quoting instances where God uses different channels to deliver His message. In essence, God really has no shape or form. Because if God has shape or form, someone created Him. Like what He said in Isaiah 46:5 To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? This verse only tells that you cannot liken God to all the things that were created like for example spirits, angles, wind, light, sound etc. God is the only giver of appearance. God can only appear in dreams, vision, angelic channeling, and using elements in nature. Dr. Brown knows that God cannot directly pop up in front of a human being, because that human being will die. God uses different mediums of communication but these does not mean God has visible forms. God only uses the agency of the angels, send His message through dreams, using the elements (smoke, sound, light) as a mechanism to make people know He is real. The visible form is not God per se but only a means to transmit a message.

If this is about jesus, did the whole nation of Israel mourned at the time of his death just? In verse 11, the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon refers to the death of King Josiah (2 Kings 23:29-30). The death of King Josiah was mourned by all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judah (2 Chronicles 35:22-25). I respect you view but around minute 23 you mentioned 1 messiah 2 comings, part 1 and part 2. Ok, I know what you are talking about Ben Yosef. Look at Revelations 3:12, let's agree is text is talking as prophecy or a future event: "...the temple of my God...the name of my God... and the name of the city of MY God..." Looks like your messiah has a God even as Ben David (yours 2nd coming) and the text is absolutely after his glorification or returning. So is he a god? part of a god? a god in flesh? One thing you are missing Dr Brown: the whole Tanakah was either ordered From Hashem be to written or dictated by Hashem, He gave to the prophets, chronicles, Kings.... The New Testament was structured by the order of a Roman Empire not Hashem and makes people idol your messiah and Your messiah would disapprove your message because revelations 3:12 shows that he HAS a god and your are maybe losing your crown Rev.3:11

We couldn't see the extent of "it is finished" the earth quaked and the rock split at the foot of the Cross, Christs blood was released by the Roman soldier who pierced his side. While Six hundred years earlier The Ark of the Covenant was moved.. Solomon prepared for its hiding and Jeremiah moved it precisely under the cross yet future! GOLGOTHA. THE WITNESS OF THE BLOOD IN THE STARS.. REVELATION 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The Rabbi's keep the tablets of stone and the blood (testimony) found on the mercy seat. I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourn for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. ENMITY is what exists now the solution is in the Fathers witness! 1 John 5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believe on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believe not God hath made him a liar; because he believe not the record that God gave of his Son. 14. He is Himself our peace, who has made the two (become) ONE

You cannot possibly deny the role of blood sacrifice for atonement in the torah and then claim as he did to have "God's own interpretation of scripture". The idea is absurd, I think it would make most Israelite temple priests chuckle hearing that. God please help him to return to the scriptures and read them honestly, let Your Spirit guide him to see the truth of what's really there and help him form his conclusions from that, without obfuscation or distortion in his vision, him and his followers alike. What's important isn't one opinion about whats there or another, what's important is 'what is the Truth?' Please help him find that. Thanks Dr Brown for reminding me of that too.

Rabbi Blumenthal, I will answer both your questions if you will answer two of mine. 1) Do you believe in the entire Brit Chasashah? 2) Do you accept the fact the reading of Yesha' yahu chapter 58 is definitive & historical proof Mashiach has already come? You answer my questions truthfully & I will answer yours in the same way. Rabbi, Adoni gave the world more than just the Tanakh & the Torah

It's a wonderful work that you do to bring us to salvation, Dr. Brown, but Blumenthal isn't worth loosing your peace over, so shake off the dust. He's definitely one who's been blinded and made deaf by God so that His glory may later be revealed. Leave the man to suffer alone in his arrogant ignorance. Let God open his eyes should the time ever come. Meanwhile pray that it does. Your scholarship & heart are elsewhere required.

This is shallow perhaps, but just by the tone of voice and candid smile, you can tell Dr. Brown is a man of truth speaking with love and respect. This augments, of course, his sound arguments.

26:31 you said " that is provable that he became a light to the nations and he changes lives this way and that way..." I have a friend that said another one did that to him and he is Buddhist. What is provable is that Tanakah was given by Hashem and New Testament was not. Forget the point that: in the time of your messiah was the worst time for the Jewish people and that's provable that thousands more than holocaust died. Your messiah's message was come back to Torah. But it is too hard, right? I could live which the "grace" created by the Roman Empire easily but I preferred Hashem.

What are you talking about?It just seems you a rambling on about nonsense the holocaust has nothing to do with the Messiah Hitler just hit a Jewish people and you don’t even believe in the Messiah so this was not about him this is about his hatred towards them is he just going on rambles about what is wrong with the world and not understanding what he was trying to state.

@@romulolmattos I understand that you’re referring about Jesus but what I’m saying is what does that have to do with the holocaust I think you’re misrepresenting about what he’s trying to save all the way to the Nations.

26:15 Arise from the dead.... Not new for jewish people... But in the cases of Tanakah wherever passages of Eliah or Jonah... We had witnesses. The New Testament show 4 different views and versions of the rise from the dead. If you are a judge and you have 4 different versions of a possible case than you dismiss the case. Yet, irrelevant because his message was come back to Torah and if he was the door, why you are staying at the door? Why are you doing the opposite of you messiah, bringing people from Torah to Roman's grace? It's impossible for me to understand how so much knowledge against your messiah's cause: Torah

First of all, all eye witnessess' testimonies are allowed in the court of law even though from different perspectives. Secondly, all those eye witness accounts compliment each other & add to the truth (there are no errors or inconsistences). Lastly, Yeshua HaMessiah is the fulfillment of the Torah & all His believers believe & try to follow Torah to best of their abilities. If you really love the Torah, you should realize you sin & fall short from the glory of YHVH and are therefor in need of a high priest to offer a blood sacrifice for your sins. Believers in Torah, Yeshua HaMessiah, not only have our high priest, but One who intercedes on our behalf, our Kinsman Redeemer. Shalom.

All that I see in This Rabbi is the same that I have and will see in most of the Rabbis: non logical discussion, only des leading and attacking the true with false arguments. I believe this is the same spirit that Jesus had to confront with the Pharisees and Sadducees in his first coming.

13:50 again making up stuff Dr Brown. Saying that "Dozens of times" there are verses that talk about blood sacrifices for attonement is a wonderful way to slight of hand away from this. Name 1 verse sir. That's your job as a debater. You name your source and then you tell the audience your opinion of the reading of that source. Then people debate about if you are right or someone else is right about the "SOURCE" Saying "Dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens" of time is a wonderful example of your slight of hand with words.

The leaders of Israel professed to be the expositors of God’s word, but they had studied it only to sustain their traditions, and enforce their man-made observances. By their interpretation they made it express sentiments that God had never given. Their mystical construction made indistinct that which He had made plain. The Jews disputed over insignificant technicalities, and practically denied the most essential truths. Thus infidelity was sown broadcast. God’s word was robbed of its power.
