I am autistic. im rather sensitive to some sensory things. i get overstimulated somewhat easily and its really uncomfortable and make it really hard to do things normally. some smells will literally make me feel sick just being around them. one of these is Sandalwood. its like i got a nose full of black pepper. my eyes sting and itch and water, i get headaches, my nose runs, its very hard for me to stay in a space with it. so i say im allergic. its better for everyone, i can get what i need to done, or i can spend time with someone without getting really agitated over tiny things because im holding on for dear life edging a full on meltdown, and nobody *needs* to have some scented candle or incense burning, and from past experience, some mfs absolutely do not take you seriously when you say you dont like it/are getting overstimulated by something.

I do the same. The smell of peanut butter gives me a headache, and my eyes sting. I can eat peanut butter and be fine (other than choking it down because it's disgusting), but I'd wouldn't eat it even if it was the only food for the rest of the day.

When I was in high school, I had a slate tile floor in my bedroom. It was an older home that used to be much smaller. Through a series of remodels, it became a bedroom before we moved there. First, somebody installed a sliding glass door off the kitchen and built a patio there. Later, somebody came along and built a roof over it. One day, somebody decided to screen it in. Later, somebody enclosed it in glass jalousies and called it a dining room. Later, they added a full bath so people wouldn't have to go halfway round the house to get to the nearest toilet from the dining room. Later on, somebody replaced the sliding glass door with Japanese sliding doors and called it a master bedroom. I don't know why I ended up with that bedroom because it was the biggest bedroom and I was only the middle child, and my parents took the old master bedroom, which was smaller and had only a half-bath (no bath or shower), except that it had a walk-in closet, which was something my mother always wanted. I have no idea why you read all this. 🤷‍♀

I (female) am 5’11.75”, so I always round up to 6’. I cannot tell you how many guys I’ve met over the years who are “6’ tall!” but definitely aren’t. The funniest was a guy in a bar who was 5’8” at the max insisting he was 6’0” and I must be 6’2” or 6’3” because he’s “definitely 6’!!!” One guy wanted to stand back to back with me to see who was taller, and he’s about 0.5” shorter than me. Another guy said, “she’s just a tall 6’ and you’re a short 6’.” I didn’t have the heart to tell him I’m actually a tall 5’11” so he’s actually closer to 5’11” than 6’.

i had a friend who worked at dominos and papa johns. they take the delivery fee because they pay for the drivers gas. he never bought gas. i mean, you are also paying them to help pay an employee to bring you food. more service costs more money. i dont understand why people complain about delivery fees. they are doing more, you are paying more. either that or they raise the price of everything then you pay more whether you get delivery or not. ill take the delivery fee and tip my driver. even tho they still make at least minimum wage unlike wait staff. if you dont tip your driver and blame it on the establishment, you are a jerk it's not their choice. if you don't tip your waiter/waitress, you are scum (in US at least)
