Never ever settle down with an uneducated partner. I am a NRI (Technical Manager) in late 30s with kids, I succumbed to my parent`s pressure and said yes and to be honest , I am in my prime carrier and despite having wealth and everything, still there is something that is missing. I am into Science, History, Literature , geo politics while partner is into Saas bahu Dramas so yes it becomes difficult to talk. Never ever go for uneducated person. I don’t know how we can define education coz now I’m double masters but I was only 18 when I married hence a college dropout and my husband was an engineer but I always liked watching documentaries, discussions over various topics, realistic cinema and my husband was into saas bahu serials like his mother and tarak Mehta ka ulta chashma like his father and it was very frustrating for me.. so it’s all about compatibility which arranged marriages don’t allow you to test.

A humble advice to your last email. 1. Its never too late to try new things. For instance try to change your wardrobe, hairstyle etc 2. Change the lay out of your room furniture. Change wall colours, bring some changes in your room. 3. You can make tea or coffee or anything that you both enjoy eating/ drinking, take it to his room and have some light conversation with him every other night for an hour or two. Just an excuse to stay in his room for a while. And then go to your room for sleeping. Gradually increasing time spending with him in his room. Someday you can say ' oh i am too tired to go to my room can i lie down here for a few minutes. But dont sleep there. Later go to your room. Slowely and gradually you can stay longer. 4. Also make your own effort to show some romance, when you feel is the right time. Please dont just wait for him to show. If you take the first few steps, he will also show love. This is like regenerating love between you two. Sometimes women think that it is only men job to show affections, but believe me they also appreciate if women show some. In your case, you have to take small steps. Just show him how much you love him and care for him by celebrating small things. Going out for dinners, making something special for him. I hope you dont get disappointed.

For improving english: Grab a book; read a chapter and write summery of the chapter in your own words. After having written the summery, turn on voice recoding in your phone and start summarising the very chapter verbally. At the end, listen to the recording and note down the mistakes that you made; work on those mistakes and try not to repeat them ever again. Persist the drill until the goal is achieved. And, in case, if you can not comprehend books as they are usually stuffed with advanced sentence structures, grammar and specialised vocabulary; you may opt for reading simple articles on google and do the exact drill. Additionally, writing is mere assistant to speaking; if you write the summery beforehand, it would be easier to summarise it verbally afterwards. However, if you think that the drill is hectic, you may remove the writing part.

As a kid i used to watch movies, films and cartoons and played games like roblox and minecraft, I also used to watch content creators associated with those games. As a kid you can pick up 3-4 languages easily and with perfect practice you can become fluent in any language by your teenage years. For some reason i also picked up British,American and german English accents thanks to those films and movies I watched.😅 Well nowadays there are many ways but as a Kid those helped me very well and PLZ never be ashamed of speaking English with anyone even if you are not fluent in it, hey at least you are trying thats what most people fail to do so.

Texas is not as affordable as it used to be but still much better economically than California and other states. There’s a lot of job opportunities in TX and schools. Aside from the economy in TX, it’s a conservative state and we’re still saved from the LGBQT cult and our children are not being forced into learning about these jahalat in schools, unlike California where they are openly exposing children to this stuff and the whole culture is not good anymore. As for the language debate,my two cents. For context i was born and brought up in the Middle East im an Indian Im married to a Pakistani. We need to speak English yes my parents were good English speakers and were highly educated coming from a family of educators back home but both spoke to me in hindi/urdu and were mostly disappointed that I couldn't speak a single sentence in full urdu/hindi "Hum ne tumhe badi school mein isiliye nahi daala taki tum apni zaban bhuljao"and now I have seen "jumma jumma anth din move hue parents"who beat their chest with pride saying "Hamara beta to urdi bolta hi nahi" like seriously you think thats something to be proud about??and worst part is those kids dont even grow up to speak good English also despite their looking down on their own mother tongue. My opinion "In the west or even Middle East speak to your kid in hindi/urdu because he will learn English from school/movies and friends anyways...." Well again that's my point of view.It is absolutely vital to keep your culture/language alive and thriving here or else you become lost a nobody in a sea of mixed faces,you lose yourself your identity we will never become goras butwe have to ne proud of where we hail from we hail from the oldest civilization the world has seen,OWN IT WEAR IT PROUDLY. People have an issue with Indians "oh they have oil in their hair" "oh they speak in their own language tamil/Gujrati/punjabi/bengali/malayalam etc" Let me tell you we don't change for anyone I will my sari proudly to an event,I will wear a lawn ka shalwar kameez to Heb/Wallmart hell its absolutely comfortable in this blistering Texas heat.Basically we dont try to be something we are not,so yes we wear gold to the beach,our south indian brethren have oil in their hair,our bengali dadas eat fish yep we are what we are aesthetics gaye tel lene. AS FOR puniabis Being an Indian and from another state totally we have never belittled any language let alone Punjabi we all love and love to learn to speak and even sing in Punjabi thanks to the songs and punjabi artists like Gurdaas Mann Diljit Dosanjh Sidhu Moosewala Satinder Sartaj Babbu Mann etc I feel Indian Punjabis have hailed their language and culture abroad too well inculcating their next generation into learning reading writing gurmukhi learning gidda boliyan and bhangra they arent ashamed at all i know a family in Connecticut who take their kids one hour drive each way to khalsa school every Sunday without fail and here in our desi community i have seen parents who speak to their freaking child in English "Beta khana eat karlo chalo jaldi hehehe ise to urdu aati hi nahi hai" so in a nutshell languages thrive when you are proud of who you are n you inculcate it in your next generation currently the "next generation" of urdu speakers is dying as many if not all dont encourage their kids to learn or read the language because they think its very elite of them not to. As far as English for jobs and etc that is absolutely necessary there is no compromise on either of the languages honestly one defines who you are and takes you places the other makes sure you know you where you come from.

I am usually in agreement with Junaid but in the case of the uneducated partner, there was a lot of negative stereotyping and presumptions in his response. I agree that partners should be compatible, but to say that an uneducated girl would ruin someone’s life or hold back their progress isn’t completely accurate. There are cases where a wife with limited education is a wonderful partner because she is supportive in other aspects. Also, some partners prefer to unwind in each others’ company and keep the stress of work away. Not all ambitious men want to discuss the same topics with their business partners and wives. I’m a bit disappointed because Junaid is always pro-women empowerment but in this case he made it seem like a girl who may not have had the opportunity to get good education (which could very well be due circumstances beyond her control) is a guaranteed ticket to destruction. Women empowerment is a good thing but it also means acknowledging that women come from diverse backgrounds and have many different qualities, as do men, to bring to the table.

For the person concerned about marrying hus uneducated niece. If the person is caring, simple and you also find her good looking, why do you assume that she cannot kearn to yse technology and gadgets if yiu teaxh her? She can, with yoyr support, even kearn some vocational trade and get some financial ibdependence - especially abroad where the opportunities are far more. If you had talked to ger and knew that you are both incompatible, I woukd not give you this advice. I am just asking you nit to stereotype someone for lack if education, if they were never given the opportunity. All the best.

@saimasuhail8284 Жыл бұрын
Junaid bhai! Your views literally disappointed me. The guy from Balochistan must not leave his fiancee just because she was deprived of the opportunities the guy got. The guy needs to understand that he came from the same background where her fiancee is living now. Its really happening to see that the guy progressed so much . He is studying as well as earning while studying. But he must not be hypocritical mark it she is from same background as he is from. If his fiancee is uneducated, he can still marry her, take her to the city with him, give her opportunities to grow there mentally by providing good resources of books and internet. If the guy is capable of breaking the shackles of his community by being the only educated person in his community then his fiancee can also. She may or may not get formal education but there are vast options for her to grow. She is also gifted with the human brain as the guy is. If the guy leaves his fiancee, it will not only impact his family in terms of boycott (which may not seem to be really important to we people living in the big cities) but what is more disastrous that the guy will be disgusted by whole of the area. Other people will not send their children to study in bigger cities and other provinces thinking that it will make their children (children living rightnow in balochistan) rebellious. In this way the guy despite of being highly educated will not become a role model instead a curse in the region. Other children may get deprived of being getting the opportunity to study further. Also, you mentioned that she will be hurt because she her mind was embedded from very young age that one day she will get marry. No she will break because of the guy. She must have imagined this guy to be her husband. Their engagement was done years earlier. She has that guy in her mind right from the young age. Even an educated girl will also break down on acknowledging that her fiancee has left her. It has nothing to do with being educated or being uneducated. And plz do not think like we people who are living in cities. I myself belong to the metropolitan city of Pakistan and I had same thoughts that marrying during studies can hinder the carrier. This may be case for we people who are given golden spoon right from birth. We are not capable of establishing ourselves while simultaneously working on our marriages. But for the people coming from villages and small cities, things are way different. They are very good at managing their marital life as well as their carrier struggle. I have spent two years in Islamabad living in hostel. My roommate was from a small city. I was unmarried. She was married at the age of 16 right after appearing for 10th class exams but she continued her studies despite being married and dealing with a toxic mother in law while her husband was living abroad. She completed her graduation and did Masters with me in one of the top universities of Pakistan Quaid-I-Azam University.

@@parik8299 but he is now 22, if the engagement was done in when he was in middle, means he would have been then around 12~14 years. I think at the age of 18~19 would have been suitable for him to decide if she would be compatible to him or not. He should have taken decision then and should have fought for it. It would have been easier for the girl to accept the situation then.

At 40 when you’re reading the email from the woman about always being thirsted, she’s maybe reading and could be too full of herself. The tone of the email sounds narcissistic and very hateful towards men, I understand the groping and the incidents that happened but shaming all men due to bad choices made by herself by not standing up at the right time and not being in those situations is her own fault. She put herself in that relationship. So I don’t see why she’s complaining about all men

how is old english translation going to help in developing modern conversational skill?
@hawk08ht Жыл бұрын
@@hereticmorte666 speaking and conversation are two different matters. To have a proper convo you ofc need to interact and speak in English and for that you need vocabulary and practice. Old words often hard to pronounce will loosen up your tongue (google how to pronounce and find meanings of new words) When reading its best to have natural flow instead of emphasising on "accent" Old English sentences often dont make sense until you "google" and find the meaning (this process while also in english is building your second nature developing your thinking process) Given how old English is structured (written/ spoken) the more you go over it, overtime your brain does the rest improving your speed reading and speaking modern English. Think it like wax on wax off in Karate Kid. Again to each their own way, I shared what worked for me. Hope this helps

I am studying abroad and recently engaged to a girl who I love because she is bright in education and fight for her higher education not because of that she is beautiful only and manages the kitchen... I saw my roommate who is struggling to manage his study and married in Pakistan and trying to bring his family. 2 things I noticed is that he created a fake degree for his wife to get her student status which is a cheaper way. However, after applying to countless institutions she even can’t read what we wrote for her for a beginner interview as he falsely pass her IELTS. 2nd thing his wife is interested in children and home and has no goals. She just needs 2 more children on top of having 3 already (her husband is on scholarship and she has no skills). I talked with the guy and he said I got married because she is my cousin and beautiful... Like beauty for getting married and having children after marriage, this is the only goal in our society taught to girls... Being desi living in Pakistan with such partner is ok but she will be a burden on you which you will regret abroad... Managing the kitchen, laundry, and cleaning flats is not a big deal... Providing support to each other and being equal is the key to a relationship... Otherwise, it is a failure...

I guess your friend is a man, ready to take his responsibilities of wife and children. On the other side you are afraid to survive alone and you find it easy to share your responsibilities with your wife. Work hard and make your own identity rather than looking for a girl to share bills with her. It's a tough time for your friend now but soon Allah bless your friend with financial independency and authority however, you will always be keep looking towards your wife to split bills. Have faith in Almighty. HE is the one who assign duties and Only HE is the one who can bless financial independency. It has nothing to do putting extra responsibilities on your wife.
