Divorce or not? Yes. Divorce. All your fears are valid and natural. But things will not improve. You are still young. And smart. Get out of this relationship and build yourself. Be smart and don't fall for the wrong guy. Take your time. It's better to be alone and grow than to be with someone who is just grinding you down every single day. You basically are single. Single in a marriage.

He will not change and be grateful that you didn’t have any children with this guy otherwise you would’ve never been able to leave this toxic marriage. Trust me you don’t need a man to live a happy life. Honestly, get therapy and a support group, you’ve been through a lot. If you’re brave Allah will open so many doors for you InshAllah. To the girl in the toxic marriage for 10 years, please please don’t have a child with that man. He will never change and your child will suffer, why bring someone in this world with such a toxic father. It’s the biggest myth that having a child will fix him, it’ll never happen. You’re lucky that you don’t have a child with him at the moment (Allah knows best but He may have saved you). Have faith, leave him and your life will be beautiful InshaAllah. Women are extremely strong and resilient and you don’t even know how capable you are, you will get through this, just make the decision and have faith in yourself. Your life is too precious to waste like this. All the best!
@basicbase7492 жыл бұрын
To the woman from UK, why would you even want to have a child with such a low character man? Don’t you have any self respect? You have to be brave if you want to change your story. Only you decide what your life story is going to be. You’re being selfish for staying with him for kids. I chose to leave my abusive marriage after 1 yr of abusive behavior I faced. I knew it will be challenging but I built my life again. And I don’t regret my decision. That man from UK will NEVER change. The woman is scared to face the consequences of choosing her life. It’s her choice: an abusive life, complete waste OR a courageous leap of faith in herself that she will manage to stand on her own feet eventually.

The 1st girl's case reminded me of the time i went to and from University via public transport & on either side the walk time was 5 minutes but walking slow or peacefully was never an option. Even on crowded bus stop there were people but some random guy in a car or bike would stop n just stare or make suggestive gestures for me to sit with them... I had uncles saying Masha Allah when i passed... N all this when i wore hijab n a burqa wore no makeup even i didn't wanna wear kajal lest someone said Masha Allah... Once on the way back in my home's street it was deserted n afternoon a guy on a bike came n touched my back n i froze thinking i got hit by a bike but it was his hand when i could move i threw a stone at him but he was gone... my father came from his office everyday for 2 weeks just to walk me from bus stop to home because i was soo disturbed... There's countless more things everybody sees u like u are just meat.... Not that there aren't good people who knew me n would walk me till i got on bus but majority is a**holes... If i was a weak person i would've decided to leave studies n just lock myself in my house...

47:28 Referring to this story, a tad bit of a harsh remark from JA. Here's a guy sharing his deepest thoughts and we continue with the theme of dude bashing. He was honest enough to state that his wife is great when it comes to all other matters. Indirectly he is highlighting his lack of satisfaction/pleasure and asks for ways to overcome it and you go on a bit of a rant of being stuck in the dopamine/porn box and mentioning that there is no way out. @Ask Ganjiswag you're a great individual and I am a fan but you're alienating a proportion of your listener base in keeping with a particular theme. You are no doubt more eloquent and wise than I, but I would highly recommend counselling, therapy, etc. for the individual in question. Much respect and all the best moving forward.

This is for the UK lady stuck in an unsuccessful marriage. I understand your predicament. It's time to get tough. Here's what you need to think about - You'll already mentally decided to do something about your situation, it's just the next steps that are unclear. This is what will happen - The first few months will be hell. Your family will not support you, your husband will feel shame and embaressment which will lead to anger and the rest of your cousins will stop speaking to you. Prepare for a very hard time. - Focus on what you need to do. There will be organisations that can help you, reach out to them as you can. You'll get council housing, you'll get benefits, but life will be very frugal to begin with. - Prepare to leave at a moment's notice. Keep your passport, keep your birth certificate, NI number etc. Any HMRC and benefits documents. Put them somewhere safe. - You'll have to start working somewhere. It may not be what you like, but it could just be short term, depending on how you structure your future life. In 6-12 months, the family will accept what has happened and will move on (anger, denial, acceptance). You're 35. You have a long life ahead of you. It can be suffocating and unhappy. Or free and on your terms. The choice is yours, no one else can make this decision for you. Good luck sis

To add more to the second question, one beautiful thing I've learned living abroad is that you don't owe your parents, they choose to have you, however, this doesn't mean that you leave them on their own and you do everything you can possible, but if Parents are expecting that you'll destroy your life for them, then they are totally wrong as again they choose to have you and not the other way around. So Parents are ethically and morally bound to take care of their children but not the other way around.

A family in uk wanted a good Pakistani girl for their son . They found a girl in lyari Karachi and got their son married. The couple lived in uk peacefuly for 15 days. Now the girl had a boyfriend in Pakistan who somehow got to uk. The girl packed her suitcase and left, went to the police and falsely accused her husband of hitting her and now she is living with her boyfriend in uk . Simply used this marriage to get to uk.

Dude, you're Super. Only thing I find bit overdose is invoking religion. I remember seeing you in a Stand Up comedy skit in front of Shoaib Akhtar and Sunil Gavaskar. It's amazing how you are able to prepare content for diverse tastes and different genres.

To the 2nd last question re keeping in touch with people, I would suggest that you keep good ties with everyone, occasionally messaging them at Eid or events, or having some sort of connection is healthy. It is a small world and you're doing amazing in professional life.. from experience, you'll cross paths with them sometime later in life, or you'll be able to connect with them for something in future. Keep focuseed but keep in touch, in a healthy way and on your terms

UK woman, be grateful that you don't have kids with that toxic man... you can be free. but if your family isn't willing to support, don't give a thought to them,you get to live peaceful life with or without them.

To the lady from UK" please leave this narcissistic man and move on. Not having a child with this man is a sign that he does not deserve one. Please save yourself, seek help from social services."

A person living in Lahore, Karachi or Islamabad is more moderate and tolerant than a Pakistani living in Middle east, Spain, Italy and UK.(This is my personal experience).

Regarding Question # 4 . Your answer is remarkable. We are so greed, we are blind when we need green passport but when it arrives we start finding such useless things. Hats of to your courage answer. 👏
