I love minion builds save for Animate Guardian. It literally kills the entire fun for me to have to constantly reanimate 5-10c worth of items minimum, and if it ever dies you just lose a chunk of damage. Not even mentioning Kingmaker because that just feels like lighting divines on fire if it ever dies.

I agree with this. Get rid of the need for AG and Spectres and just buff the minions up themselves. Tired of having to hunt down niche Spectres and losing more currency than my personal gear is even worth on an AG. Every minion build feels like a Zoo with how many extra summons you need to even make it decent.

You should have interviewed Ethan from thegam3report1. I followed ghazzy's spectre build and got nowhere last league. Every league I have found Ethan very helpful and I did his zombie build last league which was more successful.

My experience is the exact opposite. I used to follow minion build guides from lesser known creators, and they'd be underwhelming. For minions, I now almost exclusively stick to ghazzy or balor. Every time I play one of theirs, it never disappoints.

Just a heads up. There are 2 versions inside the "high budget" POB. There is a high version CI which transitions from the medium version, and there is a HIGH VERSION where all the pieces of gears are bassically the best shit you can possibly get (outside of mirror tier items). Don't get them confused

Love this format. Might recommend the expert have the mouse though - they will be able to walk through the build easier. it will also feel less sporadic as the viewer than you scrolling through trying to catch up or find what they are talking about

I think there's tons more minion builds that Ziz I wish you asked Ghazzy about! He's got a minion tier list that would have been interesting to talk through and compare how an S-tier minion build would stack against an S-tier melee build for instance. Also asking a minion specialist, it would be interesting to go into more specific minion mechanics rather than just talk about 1 build the whole video. I recently watched PhazePlays' minion hurdles & builds video which was super insightful!

What league mechanics are best for zoomancer?

General mapping is fair, stationary content like blight and ritual feel good, delve is decent in mid depth. Depending on your minion choices breaches, bossing, and abyss can be good, essances are good. I'd say they're kinda bad at deli, trials, and other speedy content that is also rippy.

The determination that came with the turtle was already very weak back in affliction (think like level 12ish) . If it got nerfed again then you should not grab him, get the perfect warlord (endurance charges, vitality), perfect judgemental spirit(discipline) for defenses instead. I got rid of that turtle after I saw how little defense it gave and how slow the damn thing moved.

You are better off to play something much simplier and less painless, while minions has their charm, its not as easy to play as other builds.

The fact that specters are mandatory in almost any minion build makes me not want to play it. On console it’s so annoying that i’d rather run lower damage

I was never fond of specters either, I stopped playing minion builds in PoE since specters became mandatory.

anyone who played 3.8 minions knows all the minion starters today are terrible, their power has been constantly taken away from gems/tree and moved to gear, if you can farm 200 div by week 1 it's a good choice, if not just stick with a good spell build

I like this format. Then follow it up with twist of your build, for better or for worse. You could build against their advice and show us the compromise on changes. I like when content creators like commedians lately good to eachother and share sspot light,. sorry 420.

Been a minion main for a long time and tbh I was hoping something new besides zoomancer. I really don't like it. I really want spectres to be dps main map/boss blasters like it was in the past not just there being support bots. I mean you still can but it takes a lot of investment to make it happen like too much.

I love playing minions, but not on this game, you really need to be dedicated enough to burn your brain in order to make the minions stay alive , and while yea, for normal content they are enough, when it comes to end game, its a bit of a hassle to keep them alive, unless you invest a ton of currency (as Gazzy said it) , so unless you really are a ultra die hard for minions, I would not really recommend to go for it , specially as a league starter.

Minions kinda suck right now. It seems like Witch defense got nerfed, minions are underpowered, and guardian was nerfed last league. Even when minions were good and I tried golemancer, ghazzy's guide was difficult to follow/understand

Until Minion builds no longer need niche Spectres or any Spectres in general, to be "good", diversity just does not exist. Get rid of the need for Super Buffed AG as well.

lol balor colabed with ghazzy on his srs, if you can’t follow his guides and build a good character then you’re a bad player or minions just aren’t for you. Especially when arpg vault discord offers real time help for any poe vault build. I’ve done ghazzy minion builds many times and I’ve never had issues aside from just not liking the playstyle of a build which isn’t on him.
