0:31 FACTS! im a fan of both old AA and new AA. They’re my favorite band and honestly my hot take is that i loved Like a House on Fire and self titled 🫣 i like both of their vibes, and this song feels like self titled mixed with See Whats on the Inside mixed with From Death to Destiny. i love it

I like AA heavy and I like this AA. I think Danny is playing to his vocal strengths more now. For an opening single I think this is good, I do believe there will be some more chunks and heavy on this album than the last one
@sampearson2369 Жыл бұрын
I agree completely, loving this track such a great hook. If there ever was an old album for you to check out it should be from death to destiny, it’s the perfect mix between still being heavy but implementing alot of arena rock esc choruses

I think their new stuff is pretty decent, But like Nik Nocturnal said they shouldn’t promote this as a heavy song when it isn’t all THAT heavy (at least compared to their old stuff). I love that chorus and Danny’s vocals sound pretty damn good

I'm loving this, I don't care if it's not the heaviest stuff they've made. Self titled was my favourite AA album.. Danny is a talented singer, it'd be a shame to only want him to scream, so I'm glad we have songs like this where we get a bit of both.

Very small percentage want only scream. I agree he is in another league when it comes to singing but most of their soft rock songs arent anything special. Also the fact that while danny was married he tried to act like old aa never existed.

Asking Alexandria has been one of my all-time favourites since I was a teenager. I love almost all of their stuff except for, like, 3 songs off of Like A House On Fire. Their early stuff I still have nostalgia for, since I spent my teenage years listening to bands like I See Stars, Enter Shikari and later Attack Attack! (I guess you could joke that I'm one of those "crabcore" fans haha). But I've grown up and I kind of feel that AA has to a certain extent as well, so I like the new stuff, too.

So many haters 😂 For someone who enjoyed their last record quite a bit (especially relative to their post FDTD releases) I find this fun. Anyone expecting Morte et dabo 2.0 is kidding themselves. I understand a middle ground between that, and this, exists - but I’m just happy to hear them playing with heavier tuning and more aggressive double kick patterns again. This is the first single of the record cycle… there def might be more heavys in store, but even if it’s more of this I’m content.

The song isn’t bad at all. My only gripe with it was the buildup to the release. They pushed it down fans throats that it was gonna be soooo heavy. You could tell from the teasers it wasn’t going to be. It was cringy to see them trying to get the attention of their old fans back and then throw this at them. The last album skip but if you ever want some good butt rock AA “Like a House On Fire” had some solid butt rock tracks on it
@nolankuffner3573 Жыл бұрын
Pushed it down fans throats, or promoted it as a heavier version of their arena era stuff? You and I both know that those fans have one AA album they listen to and this song could have been a song of the year from everyone but those diehards and they still wouldn't have given a damn.

As someone who was a literal child when their first albums came out, but who got into them in high school, I don't get why people bash the new AA like it's bad. It's just different from their old stuff and that's alright. Playing the same stuff over and over must get super boring after a while.
