I know we all love the melodies of the slower songs, but I think the single most unifying sound you can offer is exactly this. We all connected to that heavy sound with the harmony of screams and aggression balanced with a powerful melodic chorus. This sound is a tribute to your core and why we are all here so many years later

@SmokeWithMeInCT If you want what Denis was putting out with Asking Alexandria, he had a brief time with a band called Down and Dirty, I think personally that was Denis' best project an group that matched his voice with their sound. I think they could have broke it big had he stayed with them, but looking at his current band "Drag me out" has some songs that resemble a shell of what Down and Dirty was. You can tell Denis was/is writing their musical sound.

Man... I really admire Danny's performance these days because he resonates an example of those of us who still face realization of truth... That the fun never lasts forever from our youth and waking up in the middle of the deceptive truth that reality isn't what it should be for our evolution and cannot change it to what we had begun to pursue in the first place.. so instead of the world changing with us how we tried so hard to accomplish it can feel like a personal failure and letting go of that part of us is when we grow into characters of infinite wisdom and never forget where we came from and how we got here... After all the humiliation comes a great amount of thankfulness we did actually make it so far with so little care in the beginning to imagine exceeding our many unexpected expectations and now reaching someone else's success of change and accepting the way it becomes. so tough when we just wanted it to be the way it should be for everyone and themselves and our own with love and freedom without consequence of survival... I can't imagine the sacrifices and the things these guys do. Have gone through while still maintaining the focus and determination. Peace to you guys for all you inspire without actually knowing who we are in the picture. I just wanted to share that if it makes it to their eyes that it's real and not just a.i. feedback or auto response from a hired commentary or an imaginary fan. Thank you and thank you again.... Your music will be buried with me. Take care of artists and fellow musicians and fans from beginning to end. 528Hz 💚

Danny is one of the best Vocalists of their Genre. His raw power behind his screams sound sick and then the harmonies are just stunning. Loving the contrast personally! Sick song
@bestieswithtesties546 Жыл бұрын
You spelled "worst" wrong. Danny is the entire reason the band devolved from one of the greatest metal bands ever to just mediocre pop rock. The dude never wanted to sing/scream metal he was more forced into it because that's what the other guys wanted to do. Which is exactly why over the years he's forced them to change their sound into more pop rock nonsense and the band has done nothing but fall ever since. Pretty much all music will have it's fans but these guys would be getting 3x the views and ticket sales if it wasn't for Danny ruining the sound of the band.

Look, I'll be the first to admit I haven't been much of a fan of the last few albums, due to my love for the much earlier albums. But this? I could definitely listen to this. A mix between the old and the new. Well done lads

Never really listened to the old AA because i was never really into the screamo stuff, but this new stuff, I've listened to this song on repeat all day pretty much. its awesome, and I'm now an AA fan 😜

Really digging the new direction and overall vibe of this coming album. It's got the darker tones from the earlier material with the writing of the newer era. Looking forward to "Nothing Left." Was hoping for heavier material due to the teaser but understand the growth.

Honestly this fits so well with all of us dealing with our inner demons, anxiety depression etc. We all are on our own journey. Will we succeed in conquering these demons? Answer is we we will❤

Very catchy tune Definately the best AA song in a few years, the breakdown at 2:40 is definately the best highlight theyved had in years. I feel danny still has it in him, his iconic AA highs and Lows are missing for me to be blown away fully. go on mr worsnop, it is okay to unleash the beast! Let it out - combined with the beautiful mature clean vocals, this would shatter the earth.
@schneider253 Жыл бұрын
There's a big low scream in the breakdown, its a little hidden in the mix but you can hear it
@schneider253 Жыл бұрын
And you can hear some high scream layers in the " Believe in me and set me free " of the last chorus
@Nerv3D Жыл бұрын
@@schneider253 of course i noticed it, but im talking about those where the highs/lows are the main vocal layers like back in the reckless and relentless record they are soo iconic AA to me
@edge4266 Жыл бұрын
Im calling it here now, this is gonna be one of the least heavy songs on the album. That chorus, the opening, and the BREAKDOWN all tell me that this is gonna be the best album since Danny re-joined
@Nerv3D Жыл бұрын
@@edge4266 that last 20 seconds teaser makes me very sceptical i can imagine the other way around - this being one of the heavier songs on the album (perhaps even the heaviest to get the album marketing going) but we will see, hopefully im wrong

This sounds like it should've been the proper 5th album if there ever were such a thing. I like the melding of sounds. It sounds more natural than the full abandonment of their original style. I like that the original DNA shines through a little.

@@criminalsxxx4394 I’m just saying that if they were to have gone in a more linear progression in terms of style over the years this seems like it would have followed after From Death to Destiny if Danny stayed in the band the whole time, provided The Black didn’t exist.
