This song should have been on Like a House on Fire. This was a tribute to their old guitar technician, Chris Holley, who died many years ago (who was also the guitar tech for Black Veil Brides). There was a version of it with Holley's wife reading a poem that Ben talked about on a livestream for the LAHOF release a year ago that would have been cool to hear, but I guess they chose the one with Ben's guitar solo. Shame on Sumerian for rejecting it because it was "too emotional". Makes me super glad to know that they are not with that label anymore.

Haven't listened to AA in forever but this song is just amazing. The lyrics, the vocals, the music. You can tell it still hurts. If anyone wants to hear something similar I'd recommend Tommy's song by Grayscale. That song is also just as beautiful as this one.
