I started on my 1st Prayer & Fasting 24 hours ago. And after a discussion with my son-in-law at 2:30 AM, we were talking about wisdom. He went to sleep, & I found this sermon on KZbin. Well, I was hooked into listening to the message, & then read 4 chapters in James of the Bible. The LORD GOD Almighty truly works in "powerful" ways! Wisdom is truly lacking in our nation these days. Thank You Father for Your Word............ In Jesus name I pray, Amen...........

So encouraging to know that God doesn’t give up on us if we come to Him with the same question or confusion too many times. His grace is truly amazing, as is His love for us. We are so weak - yet I rejoice in my Savior. He is strong!! And He loves me!

I love listening to Alistair Begg, his sermons are some of the best that I have ever heard. But alas because I am saddened to realize that the double minded man he speaks of, is myself. Alas, because I am hard pressed - because I hear the word of the Lord and recognize it's truth but I still find myself failing to act in accordance with the truth. I have felt the power of the Lord in my life and yet, here I am. Still failing, still doing what I should not. Still choosing sin when I should not. Dear God, help straighten me out, Dear God help me to turn away from sinful ways that I inwardly desire but know I should not. Dear God help me to turn away from the old self and put on the new. Help me God and help all those like me who desire to do right but still struggle to break the cords of sin that bind me and that I sometimes willingly take on. : /

Colby2Cheese, I have experienced what you describe.. I so understand! Things started to change for me when I regularly confessed my sins and failings to Him; asking for forgiveness, and started reading the Word of God (in bits & pieces), slowly starting prayer to Him. I KNOW the Holy Spirit is revealing these things, giving me desires I never thought would come! God Bless you richly, pray for His strength & guidance. He never fails, I promise!

The Lord has spoken to my heart through this sermon . The stress on the integrity/morality part of Godly wisdom cannot be overemphasized . I feel when we determine to follow the morals of Jesus , He will bless us with wisdom full throttle . Our walk with God is made far more pleasant when we acknowledge his wisdom and do not lean on our own understanding . Thank you pastor Begg for your submission to the word of God .

Again and again, and then one day I say.: Lord, I asked a question and You keep on saying the same thing over and over! And the Lord said to me: but you keep on asking Me the same thing over and over! 😂😂😂 oooo I love the Lord God with all my heart ❤️ 💙 💜 I serve HIM now for 46 years !! What a Awesome wonderful GOD we have! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Dr.Begg always TEACHES: here a"how-to" approach to this problematic life: wisdom is morality that teaches us endurance. Researching the intricacies of a situation yields cognitive know- how but only when carried out within God's edits for our lives will yield that good and perfect gift/solution. I always thought it was doing all I could do, (He gave us a Brin) then askingGod for the resolution: instead it is asking while living Godly lives and BELIEVING FULLY the the solution will be perfection. Amazing.

I want to know . More firmly than ever , I believe in the Sufficiency of Scripture. It began with Ken Hamm . Which led to Todd Friel . Which led to Alistair Begg . There are no churches anywhere near where I live that have this view . John 1:1 & 2 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. " John goes on to say at verse 14 that the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. Jesus is that Word who became flesh. He is co-eternal with the Father and Spirit, of the same essence, equal in glory and power. I pray that you would be built up through this wonderful truth.

Look up about the NIV bible it's been altered its been changed its not the true world, same with "new version KJ and new English get the "old" King James Version. Don't believe me check for yourself there's whole sections missing in the NIV Check yourself or take the question to God I'm telling you for your benefit. God bless.
@desc17128 жыл бұрын
Check yourself, u have been misinformed... All of them have glitches that were translated before the Greek translation was put into English, Grammatically correct. Try out the International Standard aVersion for the best translation. The King James has plenty of errors and added notations itself. That's why the NIV removed some verses here and there with footnotes. Someone way back made a notation and when the Latin Vulgate was put into the Kings English, the notes were included when they put the numbering. The original Septuagint that Jesus quoted from had not been found when they first took the Hebrew Torah n made the Latin. Do some homework before touting off. Do some of your own research and also find out Who told you one thing or another - do they keep to the Apostles Teaching... That Jesus gave them, Holy Spirit inspired them to write??!
@mama3beez8 жыл бұрын
DeLightinHashem HEshallgivedesiresofLev so is the Bible translated into say...Swahili or French or Mandarin...the King's English? nope.
@MrHammy1928 жыл бұрын
Actually they do I deliver them even Chinese etc
@mama3beez8 жыл бұрын
I know they are translated into these languages, but they are not in King James English. They are in that particular language that is needed. KJV is my favorite. I love it. I dont have any undue difficulty understanding it. I rarely read another version. And I agree that some of them are pretty "stretched" in their translation. But the KJV really is not the most accurate translation. To say that the KJV is the ONLY true version is to completely negate the authenticity of the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts. Think about it.
@MrHammy1928 жыл бұрын
My fav is the red letter KJV too I wouldn't argue with that, I go to bible study twice a week and of course church service too they use both KJV and NIV end of the day exposure to the word is all important I'm happy you read it God bless you. X

God the Father,Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit! I better be careful here, but it's unbelievable in human terms. His wisdom His love is so vast, infinity and beyond yet we belong to Him. The members like Alistair said-members only. Jesus invites us all even the Democrats! Kinda jokin' on that! We know or we better know For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. And whether we like it or not that includes Nancy Pelosi!

On your Way if you want to see God, we must all of us without exception take a step back from this World for a time and all it's religions traditions to be able to understand and be able to know God .It is very necessary if you want to know all the truth, those who takes the retreat must learn from the Holy Spirit just like Jesus did in the desert alone with God in silence and after a while you shall be able to teach the pure religion Spirit of Truth that will make you free from the bondage of this World and all its lies , To understand how to learn read this book ( VOIR DIEU) from Janko and Livin the Wirsberg all inspired by the Spirit of Truth in pdf on the internet

SHAKESPEARE, PRAYER, AND WAVES OF WISDOM... TO BE OR NOT TO BE, THAT IS THE QUESTION. YET NOW, WHAT IS THE ANSWER?? THE ANSWER IS "TO DO"!! 1 Timothy 1:4 "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than Godly edifying which is in faith: so do. Once having done... Proverbs 16:3 "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." SHAKESPEARE?? What is it that "SHAKES PIER"?? HINT[S] Genesis 1:2, James 1:6 [WAVING GOODBYE]

"The 'god of this world' has blinded the minds of them which believe not." Yehovah/Yeshua is not the God of this world.
@richardsheffield58734 жыл бұрын
You mis interpret the word of God. "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness there of..." and "Jesus is the LIGHT of Men, and that LIGHT is the Life of Men" and "In (Jesus) all things consist". "The god of this world" refers to the ones who are swayed by the wicked one and desires to fill up on all this world has to offer and does not seek the things of God. The Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life are the desires that seek out this world and whose god is their belly and this is the kingdom of the god of this world.
