It's most refreshing listening to this articulate preacher. Often through nights of insomnia I listen to his sermons. I appreciate the effort made in preparation for the sermons. We are living in troubled times. Begg's sermons are a tonic.

There were no sermons like this 2000 years ago at the day of penticost . Peter the same time baptised from Heaven by the Holy Ghost Jesus promised to His disciples . Peter spent no time preparing a ( sermon ) before speaking and on that day 3000 saved. Each day more added to the church with no building, no sermons , no choir , no deacon or elder board . The church was in no way like in the last centuries known as an ( organization). What has become organized ib the last 2 centuries is not in any way truly the church. Ie God is not organized like sinful man has always been!

Brethren this one issue has been and continues to be an area where the enemy attacks me constantly and consistently! And I know already and can repeat the scriptures and all but even so at times I’m up at no night wondering how it’s going to work out! There’s moments of victory where I think I’ve got this, I rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety and dread and I trust the Lord. Then slowly ever so slowly those old thought patterns begin to raise up like a dead man trying to rise out of his coffin and there I am fighting against this spirit of fear and anxiety again! I believe that I will fight this enemy until the Lord takes me home. But this is worth fighting for by practicing the changing of old thought patterns and replacing them with the word of God. Confession of God’s word as well as writing God’s word repeatedly until it becomes embedded in one’s subconscious and begins to emerge to present itself to you, all this requires effort on one’s part and “discipline “ and awareness of ones mental state. If it is difficult process even when you are being diligent imagine if you’re not being aware or disciplined! Anyway I’m on my way, not there yet but further along down the road and fighting to keep my mind on Christ our Lord and Savior! God keep you in perfect peace brethren as you keep your minds on Him!

amen keep it up brother. you are in the right place doing the right things. keep running the race with endurance. the Bible talks a lot about endurance. life presents many challenges, much pain, and many hardships, but we will fight until the end with endurance doing the things that you mentioned in your comment (i.e., memorizing Scripture, reading it, writing it, reflecting on it). do not give up!!

@@noahnorris5006 Brother Noah, I appreciate your kindness in responding. Heard a sermon the other day from a Pastor who presided over a large church. He talked about just that topic of endurance in this battle. One thing that stuck in my mind is when he revealed that he sat in his kitchen many a night over the years while his wife and kids slept drawing up his resignation letter as Pastor of that congregation, read it and re -read it determined to turn it in that morning and leave, quit but didn’t! And he talked about how often those thoughts rise up the most when we’re close to a breakthrough because the enemy is out to sabotage our victory. Well I knew the Lord had spoken to my heart when I heard that message! I got back home afterwards and the phone rang. It was my brother who lived in another state who called me to tell me that he was coming to visit me from another state in a couple weeks. He said that his business has been doing fantastic as he repairs and rebuilds homes and there had been an explosion of his work because of storms in that region. He said that he had bought himself a vehicle and had thought of me and was bringing me his Jeep SUV and a check! I broke down in tears brother! And it’s not about the material that got me it’s that the Lord is so good! And He is a rewarder! I thanked my brother for his generosity and kindness but I know who is behind all good things that come to us. I had been struggling brother and I had been hanging in there and maybe no one else knew, but the Lord knew and He let me know it! God bless you brother. And you’re right let’s stay in the fight with and for the Lord Jesus Christ!! Thank you!

I feel God is where you find him. If you're seeking him you will find him. Praise Jesus. I for some reason just wanted to say I hope my ex mother in law made it to heaven. Please pray for my mom's soul. She's very sick and I've told her to pray and attend church. I can't get her to understand you don't have to be cleaned up to go. You go to get cleaned up. Lordly Lol! Me too! after years of the mystery of Allister Begg in the radio, for decades, I finally came to revelation for you tube, with much exuberance to be able to pick and choose sermons to hear, a playlist took about 5 seconds so many , I do want them all! And there oh yeah!!? That's what he looks like! No shame! Just Funny,at myself. He looks totally different than as imagined, and that's even funnier, plus the real delight is in the smorgasbord of sermon scripture topics I need A Lot! Matthew 7:7,8, 1 John 1:7, Eph 1:17,18,19, 2 Peter 1: 1- end,all in all is with us in The Light! Curiosity calls many into captivity of Christ!!! I favor the admonishing scripture, Allister 's intonations, it's the Divine eternal anointing gift to harness the tongue like that for us, the dialect is a beneficial bonus! I used to be shagrined to leave my radio playing in the living rm on very low for my pets, to go to bed,and think I was too tired to hear the rest having no radio in my room, my own error fault, but since cell phones , Bec no alike Allister I'm waaay older and cherish the way he sounds the same. And play my you tube all the way through sermons all night, look see what my spirit was eating while I was sleeping. I'm one of those Joy on fire people that since toddler hood continues life long to always awaken cheerful and energetic , refreshed fully by only a little sleep (6 children if my own So BLESSED! Love the noise, but grew up and moved away ( they all have their own noise now, so I got pets and they Praise Pray and sing with me all day, & feed on the word at night too. No incidents of turns of health untoward, or injuries, Wonderful protection of the spirit of the living word, washing in the water and the blood. The Andrew Murray ( 1800's Preacher Author) audio books Allister often arises quotes and topics with I very much appreciate enjoying learning growing in all that teaching awake and asleep, the narrator of many Andrew Murray Audio books available in you tube read by ,of all names,Siphon Williams,So peculiar cute! It took a while to get used to the English accented & sound of his voice that I arrested the feeling of being in one of those British old dark posterity dungeon Boarding Schools ! Lol! Bec the subject content is so enrapting,( I think the Holy Spirit just invented us a new good word there by misstatement! ) and after a cpl years of hearing the Andrew Murray Blood of Jesus every night, I realized Siphon Williams Loves the Lord and His word too He's not merely a professional narrator. And alike Allister Siphons voice is a Dear Good Old Friend. I'm sure we all that listen have something that way in common. And as Allister says, and if not you ve got the issue's of pride Lol! I've been busted in my own private bedroom more than once by the admonishing of Allister! I live correction. I am always so glad not to be wrong in this and that anymore, I go looking searching sermons for it!! And it's delightful to have bedtime Holy Spirit revelations from the sermons preached word I get to hear that there is true Divine rest in the sleep and through and through whatever comes in the new day many days Still, this is the shortest episode we'll ever have whether we go up or down In going up indeed! but even so, eternity has no measure of time, & that makes this little increment on earth the shortest thing we'll ever do. Those going up, it will have been the hardest, for a very short duration, those going down, the easiest best and last episode of brand of good they'll ever know.Lets Pray the Lord of the harvest make us worthy laborers after the example of what we gain from the Allister Begg out pouring rivers of living water ,to do so seek to participate to save. I really enjoyed your message. I lived residential and had 2 of the 6 kids in Hawaii, good thing for imagination for the rest of us now! Aloha!

So grateful to hear the sentence "your conscience is your friend," and to hear teaching on how we must heed conscience, and that conscience is where God writes his natural law. The last church I was in I left after hearing preaching that "your conscience is your worst enemy," coupled with statements like "God is not looking for a moral society." It was the worst sort of antinomianism.

Yesterday when I got up, I went to my computer, I usually have a hymn of the day in my mind to listen to, when I went to my Praise & Worship tab - the song that was there on the screen from previous session was in His Time/Maranatha and the words jumped out at me, though it was not the hymn/song I had woken up with and I was almost slighty irritated to see it as I thought it was not the fit song for the day (how wrong I was, the Lord was speaking). Thank you for this reminder Pastor Begg of waiting for God's time rather than becoming impatient for the vision He gave us of our life and to be willing to go along the Path He has ordained for us rather than forcibly creating our own - and acting in rebellion against Him, both of which always leads to untold and sometimes unrelenting destruction and disaster.

Conscience and David persuaded his men not to kill Saul. Not taking matters into our own hands. Reminded me of the Courage it took in a medical situation and a group of consultants thought they had it so right. Took one Person of Courage to say No this is not right Look and See your Wrong! Its so easy to become influenced by the Majority. Leaving Matters in Gods hands says it All. Thank you i was blessed because of your Word Today.

I can relate and agree, it is so easy to be influence by others and go with the majority, rather be the odd person's out standing on right Working in the medical field, I have to keep praying and stay steadfast to upright; especially decisions towards another person I just kept wailing in obedience and to not allow my foundation to be crack, and keep repenting and confessing, bringing everything at the throne of God for guidance and direction

When David cut Saul's robe he may have possibly been made aware he had done it in a moment of pride to show he had one on Saul. Might possibly the guilt pang from feeling pride caused him to pause as he considered his motivation in the act? That would be a familiar feeling for me ☹️

During this pandemic I have been quarantined 3 times. I was told today I was worse than an infidel. So if you are quarantined, mandatory are you still an infidel. I believe it's a matter of perception. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Proverbs 29:25 “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in YHVH shall be safe.” Proverbs 18:10 “The name of YHVH is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”

Personally I don't quite understand why some would call you an infidel in the first place. It's quite weird. I guess there would need to be more background. God does say render to Caesar what is Caesar's so if you're going from that aspect following mandatory quarantine is just following the rules. Now I am sure some point this may turn into a different situation but ignoring the mandatory quarantine could possibly put others at risk. I don't know exactly why you were quarantined so... As for Mike M Michael Ford did not say he was fearful. He said he was quarantined. Now if they had asked Michael Ford to denounce Christ and he out of fear denounced him that's a different story. My $0.02 but we know pennies don't count anymore. At least not here in Canada. God bless gentlemen

Say: let he who is without sin cast the first stone. And, there is only one law giver and judge, the one who is able to destroy. But you___ who are you to judge your neighbor? We are to mind our own business, not our brothers and sisters. No wonder people are leaving or changing churches.
