For Lent I gave up things I couldn't accomplish. This year I am reading a chapter a day of Exodus for lent. I read Luke for advent, and Acts because I like reading Paul. I guess we associate with Jesus more because he was man. I think of him as my teacher. He is always explaining to someone, somewhere, something. I am learning what his explanations mean by reading the bible. His explanations are there for when we miss the point. A superpower? Without a doubt, the ability to heal a broken soul.

His dad died six months before his mom did, and we spent the last three months caring for her at home. She was bed-bound and totally disabled. It’s a little too early yet for us to be excited for the future, but we do get to have the rest of our lives to live “for ourselves”. I have no idea what we will do with the rest of our lives. We’ll probably have to find some nice, fulfilling things to do like mission work or something. And some travel. Re-learn how to be ourselves and be okay with that.

Hotdogs are a wrap, as the bread wraps the content. Hamburgers are a class of Sandwich because there are two pieces of bread containing the content. 1:11 The Subway Scenario - They technically make wraps as the bread is cut like a hotdog bug and wraps the content. The "communication" super power would be a pretty cool one to have. In fact, there actually are quite a few superhero's that have that power in there arsenal. Most notably, in the DC universe (home to Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman etc), there exists a group called the Green Lantern Corp. and the members (aka Green Lanterns) actually possess that superpower. Their rings allow them to both understand and speak every language in the known universe.

Super pedantic, but in Europe there is such a thing as an open faced sandwich, which is toppings on a single slice of bread. However, there's also kebabs, or gyros as they're called in the States. So perhaps a hotdog sandwich is really a type of kebab! It certainly makes sense considering kebabs also come with sauce and chopped up vegetables, which is much less common for conventional sandwiches.

I may sound lame, but I think it's cool you have this kind of congress.
