To cry in front of your wife shows maturity. When your ego is too high it stunts your maturity. When you trust your wife to cry in front of her, that's because you KNOW she has your back like no one else! Crying is human and natural, and shows courage.

Yes!!! Couldn’t have said it better! I tried to explain it from my point of view in my comment but I’m glad to see others feel the same about this. No shade towards Charles and Alyssa bc I love their videos but give them a few more years together and I’m sure things will change… on many of these topics. Coming from someone whose been in a 11 year relationship/marriage (haven’t been married 11 years but in total that’s how long we’ve been together). There’s some points they make throughout the video that I agree with but there’s also some that I’m like ehhh just wait & see 😂😂
@janicemurphy81753 жыл бұрын
@@brookenicole4, we have to remember that they are very young. Sometimes we feel like because we are watching them that they are the authority on these topics. They are precious but still very young! The fact that they have become so successful at such a young age causes people to forget their actual age. Time will surely change some of the ways they are thinking today.

I’ve been with my husband a total of 11 years & have seen him cry more than a handful of times.. not a whole lot but more than a few times whether it’s death in the family or just tough times. It doesn’t make a man any less masculine. And he is my homie… or as I would say my best friend. It’s okay to show your emotions & be real and raw through the good and bad with your significant other.

It depends on what the man is crying about tho fr. What if he is crying about some bs? Then that would be a turn off. Normalize men being able to cry when something hurts them 💯👏🏽 I see what Charles is saying honestly. Men are pressured to be the “man of the house” and the “provider and protector” which is why a lot of men refuse to cry or be vulnerable however, men are humans too and should NOT continue the toxic cycle of not showing emotions. Eventually keeping it bottled up & not expressing your feelings results in the man being extremely toxic to everyone around him & even to himself 💯 Break that cycle 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

So I told my fience he needed to have a talk with ayden n explain it's okay to show your feeling and emotions sometimes.. Charles is right on that part when parents sometimes come in between your relationship and sometimes you have to get married without permission. I'm an example because my mother didn't want me to marry my bf because he had a kid with someone else and she thought I wouldn't be able to handle the "emotions" that come with it and she basically tried to keep us apart until he moved me out and married me. 11 years later my step daughter and I have a very unique bond that will last a lifetime, she even calls me mom. She's 15 now, I wish I could do more for her but it's been tough for us since the beginning and we're trying our best to raise our (now) 4 kids. 1 by marriage and 3 by birth. Now my mom loves my husband and even treats my (s)daughter as her own. God is good ♥️

You know for you guys to be so young, you have very intelligent positive answers! Charles, I feel like your have an old soul. You can tell a strong woman raised the both of you and taught you both well. But for Charles to still remain this way and willing to end friendships with non-equal thinking friends speaks volumes. Alyssa pay attention because he is a faithful man.
