In this episode, my thought processes are everywhere as this is a very unusual question. But this topic is also important because life goes on with or without property. I'm just glad that this couple prepared everything before they are moving forward to that next level.
Based on personal experience, I would suggest the following:
1) Invest in health and fitness to have better quality of life
2) Invest in knowledge to continue staying relevant
3) Invest in protection and insurance as we are increasing our scope of responsibility

I really enjoyed this episode. As a first time parent to a 20 month old, I definitely recommend enjoying married life and travelling a bit before baby comes along. I'm fortunate that in my country's culture, travelling the world when you're young is almost a rite of passage. I love all your videos and appreciate the effort that you put into them. Fully agree with the advise. Take a pause and maybe make some liquid investments in the meantime. Let the addition of a new member of the family sink in. For me personally, all the planning made before my baby came ( when we were expecting) got thrown out of the window. Eg, where we want to stay changed, expected space requirement changed to etc. It’s a life changing event, for the better but the priorities will change.

My mother keeps telling me that it will get easier as the kids get older... i found out that was quite a lie. 🤣while yes, during baby time there's alot of expenditures that will eventually go away, but then new expenditures will come such as extra-curricular classes, deciding whether or not international or private school will be an option. Plus, if ur kids have special needs or learning disabilities, therapies can be expensive as hell... but this is a super big IF la. But having met people who spend enough to buy a nice car on their kids special needs therapies, showed me that it can get really scary. I feel that with kids, no matter how much you earn, sure can find a way to spend every penny you have one 🤣🤣

congratulation to both Mr K and fiancee on your coming wedding and your purchased properties at early age of thirties.Sean's objectives to encourage Malaysian to own at least 3 properties is admirable. As a keen properties investor, I like to advise to new purchaser that has no knowledge about buying property, please do your homework on the ideal property that meets all your desires.However,it can be fraught with stress and anxiety, leading many to ask, "why buying a house so stressful". It may cause problems like trouble-sleeping, feeling anxious, not wanting to eat as much, headaches or stomachaches. Infact purchasing a house is considered the seventh most stressful life event, ranking higher than having a child or starting a new job.

Hi Sean, thanks for your video. You've mentioned exploring different property options including bulk purchase units... May I ask how normal people like most of us get to exposed by good bulk purchase deals? Understand that those which are advertised to us are no longer good deals.. more like a trap haha. Thanks!

Good advice, especially on break down all the expenses amount for having childs such as confinement center & hospital etc, also agree on the go travel more before having a baby, enjoy couple time first 😂

Yup, people must learn to spend on themselves 1st, before spending on others(children). Wait, and you will regret it. Don't be in a position where you would like to climb Mt. Fuji, but your body doesn't allow you to. Do it early. Lol!😅😂
