Good insight, the person mentioned he almost paid off all mortgage with business proceeds. I feel with this he can then optimize his portfolio. for now he mentioned 12k from 3.2m thats about 144k per year but if you calculate yield is only 4.3-4.4% off 3.2m worth. if he can adjust to get 6% thats an additional 4k per month or 16k every mth. The good thing now is he doesnt need loan to optimize since it is almost all paid off, just sell and buy and have a bridging loan in between.

His yield should be higher. One property is used for own stay.

My take, work fulltime or locum at GP clinic, easier life and maintain your alert ess in this field. With that, you'll have 20k income per month, knock off 6k from expenses, got 15k per month to invest with 3.2mil cushion. Pretty good life ahead brother.
