10:50 Targeting Teen Users Teens have adaptable habits, crucial for growth. Older users invite fewer new app users. Critical to attract users who socialize daily. 12:15 Importance of User Invitations Invitation rates drop 20% per year of age. Adults require ads for user acquisition. Building for adults is costly and complex.

I worked for a fintech that was trying to target young adults, and after doing marketing research, I also came to same conclusion as Nikita. Young adults are less likely to adopt new apps. It's better to target teens or as early as possible.

15:15 "Eventually we figured out an interesting heuristic for identifying consumer product opportunities that ultimately led us to TBH." @LennysPodcast This is a million-dollar question; don't change the topic to selling for $30 million to Facebook! Headlines don't need any more airtime. What you should be asking at this point is, "What is that heuristic?" 🤔 People watching this want to know the valuable data that only your guest (Nikita) can provide, not a regurgitation of headlines or reiteration of the time it takes to get there. Don't be so hellbent on restating the obvious ("It takes time") or drawing attention to a headline that you forget why your listeners are tuned in to the episode!

How do you seed an app in a school?
@Urmilpurani205 ай бұрын
I am wondering that too and also how many total number of students were there in that school
@rtusiimeАй бұрын
Probably get a couple of students, or post a billboard or sign… on x he said he made private IG accounts for each school and followed the students there (they usually have their school in their high school Instagram). The students follow back especially if it’s private so they can see who it is

What does it mean for the customer service system to "break"? How do things break in 3 days if users are getting the app from the App Store? Why can't Apple servers handle a single school of users?
