Paulie: I have watched so many of your videos and LOVE this series it's so inspirational to see the different styles and different approaches. I love both posed and candid street shots but after seeing this I want to do more posed shots. Naeem's pictures are fantastic.

Gorgeous work Naeem, love it. I've shot for decades with my old Bronica, that mirror slap always blows me away. I love candid street work, but It's liberating at times to ask random folk for a shot, I find it far far easier to ask folk when I'm using an old camera, of late I'm using old folders, I rarely get turned down as folk are interested in the camera etc, I always offer to flick them their pic. Great video fella loving this series.

I don’t often ask to take someone’s photo during a day’s street shoot, maybe twice or thrice per trip, but when I do I open up with what attracted me to them….. catchy clothing, beautiful makeup, nifty dog, after which, according to their reaction, I ask if it would be all right if I take a photo of them. After accepting an unsolicited harmless compliment from a stranger, I’m rarely turned down. Being a 73 year old duffer doesn’t hurt, as, along with my open, friendly, casual manner, I don’t appear to be a threat 🙂
