I've watched the episode a few times. His style is not what I prefer, but the episode itself is pure gold. What a character.

Though San Francisco looks great on film, high end photography equipment can't apparently mask its irritating social environment.

San Francisco look great on camera how ever it's inhabitants are taxing out of basic social ignorance.

I am going to Disney with my 4 year old and 1 1/2 year old and wife and have a Sony A73. Had it since July. I have a 50mm and 85mm and was thinking of getting 35mm before we go. I wanted to bring 85mm for ability to get a little closer to stuff. I don’t want to bring all 3. What would be best combo for Disney of the 3 listed.

Damn i really love how he takes pictures, all he did is just approach someone/something and then snaps!, that easy

Well, that’s different! A high-energy, take-charge, professional studio photo session style applied to street photography. That actually seems to solve or reduce a lot of the problems of street photography.

Recently bought my first film camera and got my first 2 rolls of film developed and scanned. Feeling the anxiety as I waited to receive the scans and then finally seeing the results was an experience. Right now I’m inspired by the magic of the process and the connection I feel to the moment captured.

my photography days were some of the most control I have ever had over my art I am just realizing this now thinking about his film and remembering mine I had a lot of control over how I wanted the image to look the music I make now is more wrangled into agreement with my general vibe, but the photos were so much more intentional

For goodness sake, will somebody please give Trevor a Nikon D750 and a Nikkor 24mm /f1.8 G lens for his street. The guy is labouring real hard to mine any shit here...
@LeapingRat4 күн бұрын
my only critique of him is him being seemingly too hard on himself or having an imposter syndrome. that might come from popularity and what he feels like he should represent but at the very least he has integrity and follows through on his approach

Definitely needs her own podcast, her energy is honestly so funny. on another note, as a female street photographer, I only see other female photographers at UNI, and we are doing the same major in Photomedia... which is really sad.

I know this man and his work, but he’s such a likable and honest human. Love this episode. The only think is you have missed to ask about camera, lens and film choice. My guess is 24 mm, Nikon one the last film cameras and porta 400. Not that matter at all, it’s just we all are curious about 😂

Recently, it’s been quite a drought for me. I am still going out regularly but primarily one the basis of “committing to the process and not the outcome”. Results are boring me to tears. It feels like I am trying to squeeze water out of rocks.

Stopped watching at 18:19. I get that there are some people who want to capture everything and anything in a public space, but I draw the line at capturing someone at their worst. I surely wouldn't want my image taken in that situation and then shared with the world. But, as our guest shared earlier in the video, he doesn't care.

Jeremy does that great thing where he's out there looking like he doesn't know how to use a camera. I think people on the street find that really disarming
