in a world where being asked on an adventure by a stranger would be frowned up, your video actually made me believe in humanity again, no ulterior motives, just asking strangers to have an adventure. You never know what lies around the next bend, but saying yes to that adventure probably allowed them to experience something that they will cherish and talk about for the rest of their lives. Thank you Nathaniel for this video.

Why not try becoming that person for yourself? :) I mean no disrespect but I used to think like that a lot and honestly just let life pass me by without ever doing the things I really wanted to do. I'm not saying you have to do a complete 180 on your personality - it's not about becoming someone else. You can play around a little though, imagine what "a free spirited person" would say to you, how they would act and integrate that into your own self talk. Again it's not about becoming someone else, although I do believe that if you yearn for people like that ultimately youre yearning for a way of being that you already possess deep within yourself! You're kinda yearning for yourself if that makes sense? That was my case anyway. And that's the whole point of trying to integrate another type of self talk, it really is about advocating for yourself to... well to yourself lol Also, it might seem kinda unfair but that's actually the best way to attract those precious "free spirited people" Anyway I hope you don't take this the wrong way, it just feels weird to read your comment, it's like reading myself a few years ago. Good luck with everything :)

This made me cry at the end. That was one of the loveliest gestures; asking strangers out to an extraordinary restaurant! And it's YOU who made it so beautiful with your enthusiasm and love. I couldn't believe it was Menton! I used to visit Menton in the '80s and '90s, taking the train down from Paris, where I lived. I would arrive all grey and emaciated, to stay with my friends, Jack and Charlotte (writer and painter). And I would leave full of colour and less depressed. The light in Paris is stark ... but the light in the Menton is pink and blue. Nathaniel, you carry the light within you!
