The 2018 model 3 LR RWD I bought new is still my cheapest new car purchase. Sale price 56k, $800/mo loan. $1000 reservation in 2016 $4500 to order $3000 down payment I used my fed tax credit in 2019 to buy bitcoin. Paid off my car with the bitcoin I bought with the tax credit 😂

Bought a 2023 MYLR, cause little one on the way. Had a 2007 Toyota Camry prior, still have it actually, but the Tesla has more room and better safety rating. Financing for 36 months, which I believe was the lowest they offered at the time. Put down $29k, monthly payments are around $1260. HHI ~$900k

That’s still really expensive for the majority of people. You need to make $150k a year to afford it comfortably. If they went down to 20-25k then maybe a bit more affordable, but for now it’s still a rich man’s car. Unless you have no expenses and are blowing your income on a car😂

It doesn’t matter how much you put down on the Tesla you’re still gonna have like $600 to $800 payments you could put $10,000-$15,000 down and still have your payments that high depending on the interest you’re paying your credit score and anything in between

That's literally ever car in existence. Cars will always depreciate in value. Good example is my daily driver 2008 toyota prius. Some one paid 35,000 for the car. 12 years later, I bought it for $1600 😂 and drove it for nearly 4 years till I could save up to buy a used Tesla model Y. Picked it up for 26,000 put 5,000 down. My payments are about $320 because I financed through my bank. I love it but I still have a beater, truck and a diesel 4x4 I paid cash for. I don't trust the Tesla completley yet

@@gray-state1703 300 isn't great for road trips. 400+ is a sweet number though I prefer 500+. Lucid air sells a Electric car with 500+ miles range. So it's not too much to ask. I figure more space in a SUV or truck should mean 600 miles if a car has 500. But the Cadillac Escalade IQ is 450 miles range and pretty inside and out. So it would be my first choice and 2nd choice would be the Lucid Gravity (Lucids pretty SUV)
