I just stumbled across your Namdaemun Market video. Last year we went to Namdaemun Market & purchased the hotteok & mandu at the same places you did. The hotteok was delicious! (Bought one of each! ) The kalguksu noodles look so good! We need to find that restaurant when we return on our annual trip to Seoul this year. I thought it would be helpful to note that the closest subway station near the hotteok vendor is Hoeyeon Station; exit # 6, and located at the Gate #5 entrance.

We had been to Korea twice already. But we never had a chance to go to a traditional marketplace and try the street food there. We just had been to Myeong-dong. On our next visit, hope we’d have a chance to go to this market.

Enjoyed the video. What would be the stall/place to go there (late summer/fall time) for something to eat? I've got a really long flight and then getting the bus to Namdaemun. By the time I get there around 6pm I'll be so hungry, did think of dropping luggage off at accomodation then heading back down (but that'd bean extra 30-40 minutes and if jet lag kicks in I probably won't make it back out the house)

From June to Sep is summer and from November to February is winter in Korea! I think fall is the best season to travel to Korea! 😊

gazing alaxy We don't know what time exactly they open but it's better to go there in the morning. But if you go there too early, the street food will not be open, so it's better to go around 11 a.m.😊
