What happened to all the Korean markets like this during the covid-19, did they have to close down? I hope they will still be there when everything gets better

Hi there, May i ask the Tongin market start from what time to what time?
@AaronandClaire6 жыл бұрын
Adele Chai Hello Adele! Normally, Tongin market started at 7 a.m. but if you want to have some street food, you'd better to go there after 11 a.m. p.s. Tongin market is closed on the third Sunday of every month :D
@adele79086 жыл бұрын
@@AaronandClaire noted on that. Thanks for your reply. Cant wait to go there!

the gimmali and mandu twigim, do they contain any meat? last time i went there, i didn't get to eat the mandu...but the fried topokki (both spicy and non spicy) and mayak kimbap are my favourite though...will definitely visit tongin market again if i visit seoul in the future
@AaronandClaire6 жыл бұрын
There is no meat inside the gimmari and mandu twigim! They only contain '당면' which is called glass noodle! I'll be around this gyeongbok palace area in this weekend, I should stop by there!! I wanna have mayak gimbab too :D
@kaknur_fluffy6 жыл бұрын
cool! thanks for the info, really appreciate it...will try it when i go to tongin market again soon

I don’t get the payment system. One type of dish for one coin? Interesting concept. It’s now on my list of possible things to do when I go to Seoul this year.

8$ for one lanch box or for the two of you
@AaronandClaire6 жыл бұрын
maria osama That's not a $8.00 lunch box! We used it that much. You need to exchange your money for Yeopjeon(the coin) and you can buy food with it!

Aaron and Claire pay attention to detail. They also look nice and have fun. No offense to other people's videos but I feel it is disrespectful to the food discovery to wear a crumpled t-shirt or to be wearing a huge backpack like one just completed a 20 mile March with the army. It's just my opinion but studying what other people eat teaches us about their culture and history, present and past.
