I think I'm shocked that there are people who seem to be more energetic than Cathy in this world.

Great video and watching was fun :-) What I learned about making Sushi at home is that you can't just buy raw fish and use it. You have to ask for sushi quality fish. It is really fun to prepare and it tastes soooo good!

Great concept! Also the way they plan it out for different food-requirements and different audiences is great! They are really putting a lot of good work into promoting their products. That shows us "they mean business"! Personally I think that the loud chanting might annoy me ... maybe it's different when you're taking part in it.

Heehee. Fun people. (And personally I much prefer nigiri style sushi to the American rolls. I usually don't care for the seaweed that seems to get used a lot, and all. In my town it seems to be hard to get nice fish, being so far inland, I guess. The shrimp's supposed to be good but I happen to be allergic to that. I'll probably try the unagi soon: I assume it won't be the best in the world at the local place, but curiosity is getting the better of me. :))

Muslim friendly!!!! sign me up. Not alot in japan caters for muslims which is sad af for muslim travelers. Even don quijote stopped having a muslim section last year. Whats worst is just looking at the street food. Would've love to learn more complex things such as working with raw fish tho for the sushi class.

I do think somewhere on KZbin I saw a thing about actually cutting the fish: I guess in general it pays to have at least one single-beveled knife to make the cuts all smooth and pretty. (If you love having lots of kitchen stuff, there's all kinds of specialized knives for different kinds of fish and whatnot.) :)

Mayo and cream cheese don't belong on sushi and that's fact 😔
@OllamhDrab4 жыл бұрын
I agree, not that I don't love those on other things. :) I usually don't care for 'Americanized' sushi, actually. Once or twice maybe, I've had some oddball combination I liked, but I like keeping it simple. :)
@k02484 жыл бұрын
@@OllamhDrab right, mayo is good for a sandwich and cream cheese makes my favorite dessert and can be put on bagels but never have I even been more upsets with someone messing up my food then when they got me a california roll with cream cheese & avocado instead of regular sushi
