Malcolm X... just looking at his writing, and his speech, compared to MLK, is much more modern. His ideas though is what brings him to the fore today. As a French-Canadian, not being African-American, I still can't help but be in awe of his ideas and how he expressed them. He really went into himself, his people, his nation he might say, and in doing that is able to reach a very wide audience today. People sympathetic to his views of African-Americans but also people outside the African-American community learning about themselves (which was not his goal but is to the world's benefit) There, I said it. I feel better.
