Ok, somthing you probably didnt know, and I learned this with my 2017 Focus ST and it still works on my 2021 Explorer XLT, hold the flob on the door pillar where the lock codes are as you close the door, it will bypass the honk feature and alow you to lock the doors while its running, I do this when running in the gas station especially during the winter...

Jorge, keep up the great work. Most dealers/associates don't bother to discuss these features once all the paperwork is signed. I never knew about the reason for the nuisance honk(which has happened to me so often) and the rotary shifter. Do you realize how often I put the car into park before exiting 🤦🏽‍♂Now I can just open the door and know the car will be put in park.

@@Askjorgelopez lDo you know how to fix a stuck sunroof. It's closednbutbjustbabkittke bit lower than the fixed roof so the car saysbsunroifnopen. I can't get it to vent or go forwards or backwards. The sun shade only closes halfway. I tried the initialing trick with the dome lights but I can't get it to work. I just want to get it closed before it rains.

Leave the key fob in the car if you are in a safer area and leave the car running. You can lock and unlock with the keypad anyway.

In the past you did a good video on leasing. I was wondering if the trim you lease has an effect on the residual value since some trims are more common on the road than others. Also does the equipment on the truck effect residual value. What equipment matters and what doesn't. Like does 4WD have better residual than 2WD. Or does a Platinum have a better residual than Lariat. Or does a technology package matter. I would love to see you do a video covering this when you have the time. I think it's a question that many of us have rather we are shopping a F-150 or Mercedes. The video would more than likely attract a lot of viewers. Thanks for any consideration.

Thank you for the feedback. I will certainly do a video covering that. To give you a short summary answer. Yes, the trim level and some options will in fact make the residual different. For example; an XL's residual will be less than a Lariat. A 4x4 will have a higher residual than a 2 wheel drive. However, smaller options like running boards, technology package or moonroof to name a a few will not affect the residual but will impact the payment because of its cost.

I get what you're saying, but honestly, this feature can be a lifesaver in some situations. Many rotary shifters have a hidden safety function: if the car is in drive and you open the door, it automatically shifts into park. This is to prevent accidents, like if you forget and try to get out quickly, avoiding a runaway vehicle.

Well, there is not tip for the sunroof. It should open without hesitation. You might need to use some lub on the rails of the roof. If you see any hesitation on the roof opening or closing then you will need to involve your ford dealer for help.

HI there and welcome to the channel and thanks for watching. Well, at the moment there is going to be at least a 2 month delay on the upcoming new vehicles. So the Mach E was supposed to be here this fall and probably got pushed back to the end of the year or maybe even early next year. The Bronco and Bronco sport have been delayed as well. But as far as the F150, we don't know exactly what is going on with that vehicle. I know that is Ford's best selling and might keep that in trace for November time frame. As always, I will try to keep you guys updated.

try turning the vehicle in circles somewhere. I would say do a circle about 3 of 4 times. This calibrates the compass. Good luck

Thanks Jorge - I just bought a 2020 Ford Expedition and although some of the features you mentioned were shown to me, a lot of them were not so I appreciate the detailed video. I still do not understand drive mode. I do not have the second knob on mine but I have a drive mode button that displays a screen on the dash. However, the up/down buttons will not scroll through it. Does this mean I really do not have this option? I also do not have a release button to close the liftgate; I do not think it is a power lift door.

the up and down buttons ( think you mean the plus+ and minus-) are to shift the transmission into gears manually. Closing your liftgate will be manual if you don't see a button on the liftgate inside door jam

YO Jorge...GREAT VIDEOS! Now I got 2 issues>>>1. I am trying to update my Sync, so I downloaded the information to a jump drive BUT I am having an issue with it downloading into my 2014 Ford Edge....#2. I am now experiencing cold air on the driver side and hot air on the passenger side and the dual air setting is @ say 65 degrees on both sides...I googled for quick fix and it said i have to reset the climate control...this is what i am SUPPOSE to do>>>to reset the climate control on your 2014 ford edge, press the climate control button, the defrost button and the power button at the same time. then press the climate control button again and it should be reset.

Not possible to make the signals blink 5 times to my knowledge. I have never been asked that but will do some research for you. And no, unfortunately you can't have the fogs on with the high beams.

James, I believe it's a law (a stupid law) that the manufacturers cannot have the fog lights on in conjunction with the high beams. That's why you cannot find any factory vehicle sold in N America that has them both on simultaneously.

Couple years late, but Forscan will allow you to reprogram all of that. You can change the blinkers to whatever flash you want, you can access "bambi mode" (fogs w/high beams), you can get rid of the double honk, and quite a lot of other functionality that you'll be able to access which is unavailable and hidden within all Ford vehicles.
