Well done video Jorge. I have a 2021 F150 lariat 4X4 crew cab with the 3.5 ecoboost. I am 70 years old and over the years I have owned (and rented) a ton of trucks and passenger cars from nearly every manufacturer. This is the first truck I’ve ever purchased brand new, it was quite a leap of faith. Well, we were rewarded. It is without question the most comfortable, quietest, and easiest to drive vehicle I’ve ever driven. With the 10 speed tranny the shift point ratios are so well engineered that I rarely feel the truck going through the gears when accelerating - unless I get on the throttle and engage the turbos - at that point it downshifts and unleashes 400 ripsnorting horsepower and becomes the fastest vehicle I’ve driven as well. Stay off the turbos and I get 19 to 23.5 miles per gallon on average. The best I’ve ever gotten was 29.5 mpg while loping along at 55 mph for 70 miles on a rural highway with no grade. Amazing mileage for a full size 4X4 truck. The on screen technology and useable, practical application of that technology is incredible. Even an old timer like me can take advantage of it. As an example, I much prefer the Ford navigation program over apple car play, and the on screen vehicle owner’s manual tailored for that specific vehicle’s VIN number features is way better than a thick paper manual that covers every possible accessory and mechanical option for that model year. I would have no qualms selling new Ford trucks. They are great machines.

Just want to add I have a 2023 ford ranger lariat, and pretty much from the beginning I had trouble with my screen freezing up, and I had to hold the power/ff buttons like you showed, well it got to the point that every time I started it up, the screen would freeze. I tried the soft reboot, then the master reboot, but still messed up. I looked up the software and found I had an update, which I installed and that finally took care of the issue.

Do you use your key fob or the FordPass app? Your truck's sensors automatically detect the weather and start the A/C or heater based on what you need. I really recommend to take it to your local ford dealer to make sure your sensors are ok.

Be quick to get it checked out, others have drug their feet and dealers are saying the damaged seat or headliner isn't covered under warranty. Most have been bad seals from bad QC on assembly. Also if you park under alot of trees the leaves, pine needles, sap, etc could clog up drain ports.

Turns out I went to school with the service manager so I'm at ease a little because I know he'll definitely look into it and not putz around and do nothing. Someone sent me a link from a ford f150 forum of a service tech and what he has done to stop it. Worst case my husband and I tackle that problem together. It's also happening in their explorers and expedition models as well.

@@Askjorgelopez I have had multiple calls with Ford Sync, they have had me do a reset a couple of times, still nothing. Last call the person was going to have me do a full reset then we were disconnected, I didn't call back because I figured I would get a different person. I finally just bought one of the wireless adapter (I just received and connected today) but I haven't had a chance to try it. So, I watched a video on how to release the rear seat backrest latch and now I can't get it to go back. I live in Idaho, I might have to go to a Ford dealer for help unless you have any tips. Also, I have tried your steps to find out my factory door code, no luck. Thank You again for your help and quick response.

That is for blue cruise, if you see these sensors you have blue cruise capability that allows the vehicle to go in autonomous driving very useful on long trips. Have you had a chance to try it out during your initial test drive?

Thanks for the tips Jorge! I tried to use my door keypad to open my tailgate on my 2024 F150 Lariat 502A and nothing happened? When I put in my door code and held down the #2 button the rear doors unlocked but when I held the #3 button, nothing happened. Any idea why? I do have the power tailgate and it's turned on in the screen settings. I used to use this feature all the time on my 2018 F150 and it was super handy!

Thank you for watching! I would do a master reset on your system and see if your tailgate responds after that reset often that usual solves the issue, but if it doesnt I think you should get it checked out in your local dealership service dept.

Howdy! It sounds like your key fob battery might be getting a little low. It might still have enough power to trigger the approach sensors, but not enough to actually unlock the doors. And for your entry and exit feature have you already save your settings? There is a feature that you can designate each FOB to specific settings.

With truck on and parked no need to open door to put truck in park. Just shut the engine off with the shifter in drive. The truck will automatically put the shifter in park.

No unfortunately you need the second key to do the factory code retrieval, if you get a new fob you are looking between $150-$300 so going with your local dealership for $50 aint that bad if you dont have the 2nd key.

Yeah but a second key is useful. I would check at a locksmith or some auto parts places will make the key cheaper. Once you have two keys you can do many things like add additional keys up to the max allowed for the vehicle. I had two keys, on one the door open button was worn out. So I order two blanks from Amazon for 24 dollars. Had them cut(make sure you have some to cut the keys before getting them). And added them to my truck myself using the two I already had.

Seems like the crooks can easily steal the truck just by pushing the button. You don’t put a key in the ignition to start it. I don’t know if I like that.

if you only have one key then you can't retrieve it for free. You will need to visit your local ford dealerhsip to get the code. They normally charge around $150 for this service

A tip would be something like if you want to make sure your grille shutters work just start it like you did and watch the shutters. They do a sequence when starting the truck and... The Ford pass app is trash. Straight garbage.
