Got lucky and found JFK to HND first class on ANA for next March, through Virgin, during a transfer bonus. 132,000 points round trip. Call them first and if there's availability, they can hold it while your transfer your miles. Don't transfer until you confirm availability.

I just got my Venture X. If I add the Hertz benefit now, do I keep the Hertz presidential status forever or do I lose it after this year. I’m confused if it’s just those that sign up for Venture X after this year lose the opportunity for Presidential Status period

@@raymondchan4016 it goes away after the benefit ends meaning december 31, 2024 is the last day you'll have that specific status according to the fine print on the deal. So January 1 you'll be whatever Hertz status you earned, not free President's Circle anymore. What you need to do is status match it to National and they'll give you executive elite for an entire new year.

Upon enrollment, eligible cardholders will remain at that status level through December 31, 2024, at which point they will be reverted to the level commensurate with Hertz standard usage policies. I couldn't find the boomerang but I'll answer the questions. 1, I bought tickets to Australia so I could get the bonus points for putting so much on the card in the first 3 months. 2, yes added my parents and in-laws so they can all have primer pass. 3, as a family we benefited from no overseas CC fees. Personally I enjoyed the global entry credit.

A few things I find worth noting: 1. All AUs also get to enjoy Hertz President's Circle 2. Most Auto Rental companies have a waybto status match. So even if somebody prefers to rent through Enterprise, they can sign up for Hertz President's Circle and status match with Enterprise... I find it's worth status matching to a few companies to find the better deal wherever traveling. 3. Airline status is honored/observed by an airline even when booking through a travel portal such as Capital One's. This is NOT the case for earning hotel points. (I am unsure of car rental companies)

Okay, I found that when you book travel through Venture’s portal, the plane tickets are generally higher compared to using Chase’s travel portal. For example, in our case, it was $100 more per traveler.

Lack of domestic airline partners hurts C1. Transfer partners are almost worthless if you don’t live by a major city. Don’t wanna pay for a repositioning flight and would rather book out of my regional airport

American doesnt want partners for a reason. Delta Skypesos and United Mileagepennies are worthless anyway. Only Alaska has a transfer partner and is valuable. I live in Portland and don't mind booking a first class repositioning flight to get Alaska miles.

Only thing I hate about the portal is that EVERYTHING I've ever booked though the portal is always more expensive than Expedia etc, so it's a hassle to call after the booking to get a price match.

🪃 The first thing I did was sign up for PP, second was signed up for Hertz President’s Club. I’ve added my wife and my daughter (she is going to college soon) This is fun as we occasionally travel in a larger group so we get a bunch of people into the lounge at DIA. My favorite perk is a tie actually. I love the Hertz PC. That once saved the family in NYC when our plane to Boston was cancelled and people were waiting at Hertz for a car. We simply walked up and grabbed one. And the other half of the tie is the lounge access. We get to the airport early every time and grab a bite at the lounge and we have used our Priority Pass at many international airports. Lounges make traveling much more pleasant. I love my Venture X.

Best combo VX and savor one. You maybe able to allocate majority of qs credit limit all but 500 to the savor one and then close qs. It should report good for 10 years hopefully it’s not your oldest card.

Hey Sebby. T-mobile does have auto pay discount, but only for debit cards. If you use a credit card this is not available. So for this video T-Mobile is a bad example as it particularly would not work. I've only had t mobile so I don't know another example to use.

You can work around this by manually paying for your bill with your credit card before the autopay date. You get the discount and get to use your credit card.

Rule Number 1*. Get approved for the dumb card in the first place smh. I have good credit and hadn’t applied for it for over 6 months but looks like due to me applying to other credit issuers while I was waiting on it. They denied me for having too many recently lines open and inquires even if it’s with other credit issuers (what nobody seems to mention they will deny you for lol) Waiting to try again February and will not apply for anything. I hope the bonus is still active for the venture by the time it’s then tho… smh
