After watching hours of demonstrations, nobody quite handles gear with Stimming does... with such enthusiasm, physicality and human-ness. It's the years of experience flowing through his fingers, I can only hope to match a fraction of this fluidity and intuitiveness. I remember it was on the Electribe overview he did, when he rotates the whole drum machine sideways, that I understood he just perceives gear differently. Very inspiring, not to be lead by those tools, but to truly switch them up impatiently and with childlike wonder, to truly make them vibrate for us, not against us.

Don't have a Rytm (I wish!) but it seems like this would work for Digitone by switching through the FM algorithms! Great tip :)

I also do this but not really to built something up. Interessting View to change machines to find interessting percs und drums. Worked well in your demo. For me the rytm is the best drum machine there is. Its simple to use but very deep.

Really awesome - love this trick as well, but work a lot ITB. Btw, is the 500-series DOCtron collab working exactly the same (hardware wise) as the normal unit? Reason for asking: It sounds sooooo good!
