Protoss needs some new blood at the top level. I feel like it's always the same Protoss players that get anywhere at all, and Snow and Mini feel a cut above the rest, although Snow keeps under performing, and so does Mini in a lot of cases. In many seasons it has felt like a Protoss is really struggling to get anywhere close to the top. Rain was like the Protoss god when he was active, and Mini was close to achieving something special there for a while as well, but he's been too inconsistent. We need a second Protoss revolution!

Qualifying bracket is brutal. Just add another round. Start with 48, best of 1, semi-randomly seeded based on previous season results. Then proceed with Ro24 as usual. Was hoping Calm would get in, had a really cool style last season. Looking forward to Royal, Mind, Shine, and Speed.

Winners move on to form the usual Round of 24. Replacements for non-returning players are taken from the previous ASL Round of 24. This adds some retention for the top 16 players, and also some best of 1 randomness to balance it out. 4 broadcasting days of 6 games each, or whatever makes sense.
