Very helpful! Was about to throw away 3 guns of different sizes. You inspired me to repair them instead. You are a great teacher.

Three weeks ago I threw away 2 Bostitch nailers that were doing the same thing. I couldn't figure out what the issue was; I thought it was a piston problem. Next time I'll know what to look for. Thanks!

Great video.... Thanks. Working on mine today Northern hydraulic.... Same symptoms... Please tell what exactly is ...Tool Oil?... Was wondering why you did not coat the part before installing.... Thanks.

I believe it is just a thinner oil. I usually put some in all my air tools at least 2 times a year if they are not regularly used just to lubricate the rubber

I have a porter cable narrow crown stapler. The plunger will not return fully for the next staple. I've had it apart and everything looks clean smooth. Any thoughts?
@ASliceofWoodWorkshop3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure. I would have to put eyes on it. Are there any springs involved?
@joelwatts90423 жыл бұрын
@@ASliceofWoodWorkshop there are no springs on the plunger. It seems to rely on pressure under the piston to push it back up.the piston is plastic with an "O" ring. Abt half the time it doesn't return far enough to engage another staple. Thanks for any advice.
