Great demo. I miss the old signature intro with the Tesla static charge.

Thanks! I'm still thinking about that sound in the intro, till autumn I should figure it out as I'm thinking about refreshing the logo :)

I saw you had a video of the Waldorf m as well. Curious how you would pick between the 2 if you have to pick one 😊

That's a bit hard question. Hydrasynth gave me much more inspiration at the start and the workflow was faster. Not to mention the onboard FX "collection". And the price ;) Waldorf M sound much more clean to me, a bit different in programming, but built like a tank and looks really good. Also I like Waldorf synths very much (especially Iridium and Kyra). So If I would have the money, I would go with both, but on a lover budget taking the Hydrasynth is a bargain.

Thanks! I'm thinking about a desktop version, but this version has nice mini keys (although less control elements) which can come in handy :)

Sounds not bad at all, great playing. Were these all preset patches? It seems you get a lot for the money _but_ it can sound very harsh and cold... Did you experience this too and what are your thoughts?
@esersound12 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, as I've had only a few hours, so I've used mainly presets as a starting points, but modified them a bit (or more) to taste. This is a very versatile synth for its price in my opinion and yes, it can get cold and harsh, but the good thing is that you can shape the sound with lots of effects later, so there's no problem with making a colder sound warmer, etc.
