Some of these patches would right into psy trance, be it the crazy fun melodic stuff from the 90's or the full on modern (more sterile formulaic yet precision layered and highly addictive) style.

Sounds very 80's which isn't a bad thing. I'm not sure about the synth yet, it's tempting but I'm more into straight analogue synths, the desk top is reasonably priced so maybe that.

sounds amazing!! .... a Vast improvement over most of the stock patches IMHO. Will most of your patches utilize poly aftertouch? ....And maybe some that utilize MPE?

Yes most certainly majority will utilize after-touch. MPE I'll have to do some more research on. Most likely will utilize

These sound great. I’m tempted to commission someone to make a preset that sounds like the guitars on Morbid Angel - Gateways to Annihilation on this synth. I managed to pick one up and I’m getting used to it, but I’m a bit out of my depth in creating sounds at the moment. That’s a sound that I’d be trying to get to. Like writing death metal parts on the Hydrasynth lol.

All that means is you need to go back to the classroom. You've hit a wall. Watch some videos on Synth sound design. get back into the grove and learn how synths work etc.

That was something special. I saw and heard lots of patches from the hydra but I didn’t know you could go that deep. As a first hardware polysynth, mainly focus on emulate that warm analogue tone, what would you recommend between the Super 6 and the Hydrasynth? Just curious to know what’s your favorite! I WISH. But the light show on this thing is phenomenal. Idk if anyone on KZbin has showed it off, but when you power it up it cycles through all the lights like some kind of alien terminal. It also has a sort of screensaver that activates after a few minutes of inactivity (15 by default, but you can set it as low as 5), and THAT'S incredible.
