This reminds me of the quote by Churchill……..it is much longer than this…but basically “don’t worry about what people think of you, because they probably are not thinking of you at all” 🤔 So resonates with me….worrying about things that do not matter….

Heya, weird coincidence but you taught me at school 7 years ago, art was fun, i don’t think you were to fond of me but yet again you were a fantastic teacher, it’s interesting to see how much your style in clothing has changed, from very out of the box and different too minimal, I’m keen to know if you remember me, that’s scary to think about 🙃

I learned to stop caring when I started regularly traveling into a major city. At the time, it was NYC for leisure a few times a month. Suddenly I found myself dancing in the middle of crowds, doing things I wanted to do that made me feel good. No one is watching, no one cares. If they are, give them something to tell stories about.

One material thing I’ve never forgotten was my amazing boob tube I left in a toilet in a club on my first night out in London 15 years ago! It was really unique fabric and could be used as a warming layer as well as a top (which is why I took it off). I even went back to find it the next day to no avail. Some things you never forget.

The video title scared me! But after watching video i see why you said it. Basically expanding one's horizons, which is key for growth. Also, I see too many folks knocking the fantasy self. glad to see you encouraging it. I tend to think of it as just preparing for a new version of oneself since we are all works in progress . ☺

This video was perfectly timed for me, you don't even know. 🥺 As a long time follower, I commented on one of your videos before I moved to Melbourne (then back to Canada because of covid). I decided last week that I wanted to move to London when I found out they are increasing the age range for the youth mobility visa next year, since I felt like covid took away my opportunity to move back to Australia. I originally decided to forgo my thoughts on moving to London because I knew I was going to age out of the eligibility requirements. But it was like life was giving me a second chance when I found out the window if opportunity opened back up. I admit, I'm still like 90% and not 100% certain I will be going. But, it's these little encouragements and signs that are slowly getting me to 100%. Sending you all the love Patricia and thank you for a very timely video for this part of my life. ❤

Been to London many times and your video is so beautiful, I want to go back. I haven't seen enough of the city. It's always with new eyes every time a travel. Holding onto the past, well, it's sometimes difficult to let go. I'm still learning, but it's getting better. We all change through the years, our values, our style and our mindset. Cheers 🌹💗

Idk what I want my fantasy self to be. I spent my whole life wanting to be German (lol) and took all the steps to eventually live and work there. Well, you can never be something you’re not. Now I’m back in depressing US for 4 years and still not sure what my next steps should be.

@FizzyBubblesASMR Well 😉 you certainly have determination, goal focus and courage for making your Germany life experience happen. Since ethnic Germans made such an impact on the formative years of the US, I wonder if there's any value in investigating their modern incarnations. Perhaps in finding the lingering culture, businesses, sport, and worship of immigrant German communities, you may discover a new path for yourself. Just an idea ....

I relate to this so much from the opposite side! I often wish I could travel back in time 10 years to finally achieving my dream of moving to Australia from the UK and I feel like I was so negative over the stupidest things. I hope one day I get the chance to go and do it all over again with the perspective I have now and not take the amazing opportunity for granted. Thanks for another great video Patricia, I hope the Brits treated you well ❤

It’s okay if someone knows more about a subject (physics, law, medicine, chem., finance, etc.), than you. Just know that this doesn’t make them a better person, than you. That’s why it’s so important to develop a strong sense of your own value, purpose, standards and interests.

Oh yeah. Absolutely. If you are really good at something it usually just means you've given that thing a lot of attention and energy. It doesn't mean you know everything about anything. That should be the disclaimer of life.

Hi Patricia, lovely video as always. Fun fact: thousands of Londoners protested for Palestine at the scene you visited at 6:38 just yesterday. As a subscriber who've always adored your content, I hope you are also on the right side of history and acknowledging the genocide happening in Gaza by the bloodthirsty hands of the Israeli Military. In just the past 8 days, Israel has killed 2000 innocent civilians, at least 700 were children/babies. Let's not be ignorant and instead listen to the voices of the voiceless Palestinians when mainstream western media are portraying them as the barbaric ones meanwhile not a single proof of dead children from Israel which they have claimed so much. This is not about politics, this is about being human. May Palestine be free from the occupation of zionist state Israel.
