You should totally play the new Final Fantast VII Remake man! It's a great game and honestly one of my favourites of all time. I would highly recommend it!

If you want an amazing story game try any of the life is stranges. Everything about them has the ability to hook you in. I personally love the second game. If you were to get it the order you should play is LIS1,BTS (before the storm), LIS2 ep 1, captain spirit, then ep 2 onwards of LIS2
