Ehhh... When they started "listening to the community" really sent the game downhill as much as anything else. The peak of the game was when the original group of developers had their own vision for the game and didn't cave to people on forums. I hate to say it but nothing they will ever do will fix the game. You both said you "feel?" like he stinks. Those kind of "feelings" are not of God but rather the Devil? The devil is the one who would make you feel extra emotional for no reason to deceive you which is exactly what's happened here with you both. If you two want to go by your "feelings" then have fun with that but in case you haven't realized "feelings" are the same as lies unless you have proof. Since you know that your "feelings" aren't based on evidence they're the same as lies if you go out and tell them to people like you have just now. A true feeling is say for example, I feel the love of my parents when they speak of me. That's a true feeling because it's based on things you can show. People can easily see the love that parents give their children it's not a "guess". Your "feelings" on this streamers aroma is completely based on conjecture which makes it just as bad as lying outright. "If you don't have something nice to say, add nothing." if you wanted to criticize him you could have provided some constructive criticism instead of simple belittlement. Soon you'll be belittling people you actually care about without even realizing what you're doing and then you may hurt someone for real. Trust me, I feel the same way, however if he and others keep playing it, WoW will just have the mindset of "We are still the best, so we can do whatever we want" and they won't change. If Asmongold and other big time WoW streamers stop playing, things would change. But for now, all the trash talk about the game means nothing if you keep forking out subscriptions. I'll continue to keep my game unsubbed and waiting for classic, and keep subbed to other games.

Vanilla high warlord here... anyone that put time into vanilla could tell you how disappointed they are in BFA. Legion was good. It felt like TBC2. Now... they seen how successful M+ were and now they make us grind m+ all day to gear up. I miss the feeling of envy that I would see from someone using tier 1 or tier 2. Now it's "oh man, he has a m10 BiS weapon? I bet he only does mythic all day, or bought it for 200k. You could literally BUY progression. That.is.what.is.killing.this.game.

Asmongold should make his own MMO. He has the spotlight, He has the knowledge of what a player wants. He has the money and connections to ask for more money. There is websites dedicated to crowd funding games. He can make it subscription based just like WoW. The only thing that is stopping him is himself. He has my type of personality where we debate ourselves and since we are always intuitive we can talk ourselves out of anything. We don't take chances unless the planets align and it is the perfect scenario. But to combat that argument of it being to risky, I would say " The only time we grow, the only time when big things happen in our lives, when things get interesting for us. Is when we take on risk that is bigger than we can handle. So many successful people will say that they expanded their business their brand, their social lives when they thought it was too early and it was a risk." If he starts development now, by the time it is ready Classic hype will be low because it would have already come out and retail wow would be dead. He could even delay the game if People get sucked into Blizzards emergency give them BC or WOTLK servers. I doubt he will see this, but if he does, I challenge Asmongold to make at least 10 levels, a playable demo of an MMO game. 1-10 one zone, one city, one mount, 2 professions. 3 classes. I would love to give my own opinions on what should be added, but let him figure it out himself first. With this challenge, you figure out the break down of what everything will roughly cost and can decided for himself is it worth investing the time and energy to it.
