It would Ironically be the best tree of traits for him, seeing as he's not really interested in fighting enemies in any way other than throw damage. though I will also say that this is probably not a fun game to run straight through the story on, as a lot of the side quests lead to stronger gear, higher levels, and more spells that you eventually need, but are so much more useful getting earlier rather than later. sorry for a light rant on your comment, had to do it somewhere 😂

It's not even hard difficulty anymore, he changed it after day 2. The Pensieve Protectors AI gives it away.(2:07:27). They are using normal mode AI instead of hard mode AI

Asmongold is the living embodiment of "bad at the game... so game bad." Dude struggles even with the simplest mechanics then blames it on game design. Dude literally had a YELLOW spell, and a PURPLE spell on his ACTIVE spellbar, and when the boss charged the YELLOW/PURPLE orbs that can't be blocked or dodged, he can't figure it out, then says "well how was I supposed to know?" Uhh... look at your spell bar and compare colors, dude. It was the same shit when fighting the Sentinels. Wasn't doing any damage but just continued casting the same spells over and over despite having spells that are more effective. Then says "these mobs are awful, they're badly designed mobs." Meanwhile he has an entire set of unused spells, for a total of 4 unused spell slots. I've never in my life seen someone who is so bad at RPGs. Even IGN reviewers are better than this guy. It's hard to watch.

To top this off, he repeatedly says the game would be way better with multiplayer while missing/ignoring the fact that they'd have to change the very way the game is designed for it to be implemented well enough. It'd be a huge waste of developer time and resources. The best games are single player for a reason, once you start designing games around multiplayer/online/co-op functionality you have to change the way the game is made. Asmon is getting more and more wrong with age.

Clearly using the same 2 (out of like 6) spells + spamming auto-attack wasn't working. He also seems incapable of realizing that yellow circle = the attack can be parried, red circle = the attack needs to be dodged. It's honestly like watching someone who's never played an RPG.

The game very early tells you to check details about enemies in your collection log. It's one of the first times you fight those statues. There you will find all you need to know about each enemy's weaknesses.

Or will say he just has to keep spamming basic cast, while completly ignoring like simple mechanics that make it easier: Like you can disarm statues, and throw their weapons into them (with expeliarmus talent) or the boss pensive guardian you can cast a spell of the same color of the ball he is casting and it cancels it and get stunned, or the troll, if you block his rock, you can throw it at him which stuns him, or when he hits you with the club you can use flipendo to flip the club into his face, like these are the weakneses that make these fights so much easier but ig rolling and spamming basic cast works haha

Can't agree with Asmon this time,this game is combat based! Problem this time is in him he must unlock more combat skills and use atleast 2 sets of them. Game offers countless ways to defeat opponents if you know how to do it,my favourite is to use their weapons against them selves

The game didn't explain that perfect parry sends a bolt back to the caster breaking shields also after certain enemy attack spell effect may change interactions. Example the bullfrogs do a charge you dodge and use acuckio on it. It will flip frog and you will cause massive damage until it flips over.

It is a well made game for sure. I'm having fun with it. Flying is sweet. I kept scouring the place for secrets before progressing so i was lvl 20+ when i got to the secret room. The toughest fight I had was the final duel 2 vs 4. And the accio shuffle game didn't seem to work for me, it wouldn't let me release when I wanted to.

You have 8 slots for spells but you are only using 4...put your situational support stuff and finishers on second skill bar to give yourself much more utility. On enemies that throw colored spells...ie guardian etc when he is charging a spell hit him with a dame color spell to cancel his out and stagger him for damage windows

To explain it shortly, casting magic in the HP world depends largely on your emotions and thoughts as you cast your spell, that means using spells that requires you having negative emotions is really method-acting every time you try casting them-which leads to Bad Things-if the wizard/witch in question does not have a good grip on their own self-awareness and maturity.

Dude you gotta learn to use Protego!! You're just letting them hit you! Also you have loads of other spells that you can use against these enemies. If you actually read up on them you'll get hints on what spells work best and when. So don't blame the game because you're not changing things up or trying to learn the combat mechanics properly. See I bet you came into this game thinking this was going to be easy peasy combat so you don't have to make the best of the tools / spells you've got. Find out what combinations of spells work with what enemies and use your potions and plants as well, and USE YOUR Protego!! Throw stuff at the big enemies when you can. There is a spell expelliarmus that will steal the weapon from the enemy, and with a talent point in Core you can even steal the weapon AND throw it back at the enemy!! THAT is what you can use against the Pensieve guys.

I prefer kb&m most of the time as well but for this game I had to bring out the controller. The kb&m controls for this game are literal garbage and they actually stunt you from being really good. He also needs to utilize his shield parry as well. I don't think I saw him use it once.
